This concert was fantastic. Tyler Glenn has so much energy, enthusiasm and raw talent. His voice is even better live than on a produced CD. He got the crowd amped and rowdy. He got close to the fans, close enough to touch. He was all over the stage, giving everyone a view and some interaction. The rest of the band performed extremely well also.

Everything about the performance start to finish was top-notch.
Amazing.

From anywhere in the arena it sounded like a train going by while wearing a Walkman. I love the bass drum, but the concert was 20% music and 80% bass drum. Ugh.

What a show!
First, Twenty One Pilots just rocked our faces off- their mix of (refreshingly) thoughtful rhymes and cool pop sensibilities translated well in this venue- they were tight, and the younger kids seemed to know every word.
As a 47 year-old rocker, it's great to be able to praise these young up-and-comers! I can hear many influences in their work, from ELO to OMD and everything in-between... their album "Vessel" is worthy of repeated listenings.

Then Neon Trees came out, and whoa- what a high-energy performance! Tyler was glammed out totally in his gold-striped pants and heroin-chic look, and proceeded to blow our heads off with a great performance. The band was into it, the crowd responded and everyone got their money's worth... it was my first time at the Kirby, nice little theater, reminds me of the Tower in Upper Darby.

This concert was AMAZING. Owl City ROCKED OUT and Neon Trees sounded AMAZING. Tyler Glenn (lead singer of Neon Trees) really put on a performance! I waited after the show to meet Tyler Glenn and Elaine, even though it took them two hours to get out there :/ but overall it was an amazing concert!

This was the second time I'd seen the Neon Trees. The first time was at Bogart's, and they put on such a great show there was no way I would miss them this time around. The lead singer is a fantastic performer. His dancing is contagious and makes me happy. They vary the songs, so they are not exact repeats of the cd version, and they go all out every night they perform. They put on a great show!!!

As for the Cintas center- they didn't serve beer and it was half empty. Most people stayed seated during the concert. No matter how energized the bands were- a half empty auditorium is hard to pump up. Wasn't crazy about the venue- and would choose Bogart's again, any day.

Waaay too much bass! Owl City was just ok, Adam was hard to hear because the bass was so loud. Neon Trees was terrible, their songs were almost unrecognizable, hard to hear the singing because of the poor sound quality and heavy bass. We left after 5 songs.

Owl City was great. They seemed to really appreciate their fan support and appeared to be having fun performing. Their upbeat songs and good performance made their show a really enjoyable experience. I would like to see them again.
Neon Trees was a let down after Owl City. The band seemed talented, especially the drummer and guitar player, and they had some good songs. The singer was a bit too much "rock star," cocky and weird.
The sound mixing, where we sat, was pretty bad. Way too much bass and drums with other parts hard to hear. It was loud but that can be tolerated if you can hear all the parts of the music. I never did hear Owl City's guitar player, even when he played a solo! And Neon Trees shining spotlights into the crowd was annoying.
Except for the poor sound, Owl City was two thumbs up and Neon Trees one thumb down.

Owl City is always amazing at performing and is by far my favorite musician. However, Neon Trees' performance is always so energetic and interesting, it really does make the experience unforgettable. Tyler Glen is a performance genius and his voice is like butter.

Neon Trees was amazing! I wasn't too fond about the opening act, Daniel (or David) Charles. The only problem was that the city of Evansville doesn't have the best crowd. It would have been a bit more enjoyable if the audience were more pumped. The band did an amazing job!

Neon Trees were good and put on a good show but the rest of the night was awful. The lineup was bad and too many little kids running. I was expecting high school age kids but not middle school and elementary school.

It was my first time at the Wiltern and my first time seeing Neon Tree in concert. Not only was the place awesome, but NEON TREES was AMAZING. I had only heard a couple songs by them before attending the concert, "Animal" and "Everybody Talks," both in my top five songs to have on repeat. By the end of the concert, I added so many of their songs in my "repeat" list. One of my new favorites is now "Mad Love." All of their songs are catchy, relatable and fun. I absolutely love this band! The concert was, by far, one of the most entertaining and enjoyable shows I've ever attended.

the show was utterly amazing. my boyfriend and i are big fans, so i bought him tickets for his birthday. the venue they played in was a little small, but definitely jam-packed, as tyler said himself. neon trees are definitely one of those bands that sound EXACTLY the same on stage as their records do. if you are considering going to a concert, GO. you won't regret it. one thing though, elaine wasn't there playing drums...so that was a slight disappointment.

fora crowd of only 1500 you would of thought it was their biggest concert, they gave all they have and even the openers killed it. You can tell they love what they do, the only that was disappointing was the drummer wasn't there

3 Bands played the night I went to this show; Neon Trees were the headliners, Walk The Moon and a band called Twentyone Pilots.
The tour line up should be changed because Twentyone Pilots were by far, the best band in the lineup, or better yet, they should leave the other 2 bands and go it alone!
Being 54years old in a 21 & under crowd was interesting to experience, the overwhelming response to the singers request to the fans to participate was quite impressive, from clapping to jumping. all were happily involved. The music was just great, half was prerecorded but the 2 guys in the band just lit the place on fire! I was wondering how the next two acts were going to come close to that.
Walk The Moon was good, Neon Trees...Lets just say, as I was texting my son (he was up front, I was in the back) I was going to comment to him saying at least he knows the difference between good and not so good, when all of a sudden he was standing in front of me while Neon Trees was on and he said, these guys are horrible and we left, but for the next several hours, all we could do is talk about how great, TWENTYONE PILOTS WERE! We are looking forward to seeing them again soon.
