Sabaton, these guys embody the spirit of heavy metal.
No matter what size the crowd, they give it 110 percent. This was my 2nd time seeing them, and it was a blessing to see them headline, where they can play a full set. They play in much larger venues in Europe, yet they come to the USA and play 110 percent for much, much smaller crowds.
Joakim Broden has that x-factor that few front men today have, I am convinced he could get any crowd fired up no matter what. Metal could regain more popularity in the USA if other's could see these guys live. I truly believe that.
The meet and greet was equally as amazing. I took my 10 year old son with me with some apprehension, yet they treated him so well, me and him were somewhat sad it was over and the end of the night. Robban Beck, their drummer even let him sit at the drums before the show. Everyone in the band was so down to earth and real it was a hell of a night.
They embody the true spirit of metal, and I could go on forever and write pages about them. We drove 2 hours for this show, and a week later bought tickets to Colombus and drove 3 hours to see them again. If you are considering seeing them, do not hesitate.
I cannot translate how much these guys kick ass in black and white text.
