This has been one of my favorite Broadway shows I've seen (only behind The Lion King)! If you are a fan of the movie you will love it - they basically adapted the movie for the stage and added new songs to freshen it up. It was a really fun night!

Great job of interjecting humor throughout a musical filled with heart-warming moments. Gaston and Lefou provide great comic relief. Hadn't seen the Disney movie in quite some time, but the musical was even better than I remember the story being. It has something everyone in the family can enjoy.

Although I did enjoy the show and my boyfriend was completely enthralled. I was left a little cold at the end and perhaps a bit disappointed. I have loved Beauty and the Beast since I was a child, the story to me is timeless and very touching. I just did not appreciate what Disney did to it on Broadway. I think what made it bad for me was that they made the Beast this humorous creature. Honestly the way he was played was almost laughable. It made me almost resent the play. I expected him to be dark, tortured perhaps sarcastic, humorous was not what i expected. If your going just to see the play and have no expectations you will love this play its light and fun and a great play for the kids. But if your a die hard fan of the movie expect to be a bit sad over seeing what Disney has done to your beloved story.

The production was delightful-costumes were delightful; music was beautiful; actors were superb. Everything about this performance was Enchanting. The venue was, as always, comfortable. The staff was helpful and hospitable. The actors delivered a fantastic rendition of the play, and the orchestra was "right on beat". There was a magical spell cast over Chrysler during the Sunday matinee.

From the moment the orchestra played it's first note we were enchanted. The cast, set design and music truly made this fairy tale come to life for us...it was a magical experience!

This show was amazing!!!! I would recomend it to anyone young and old at heart. I believe i'ts a bit long for small children, but I would take an older 4 yearold anytime. This is a must see!!!!

What a wonderful display of talent and beauty! I enjoyed this show even more than I thought I would. As a little girl I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't my all time favorite. This spectical has moved the story up on my list of Disney movies. Bell and the cast were stunning and most of all I enjoyed the colorful display of set design and costumes. Highly recommend to children of all ages! Would definitely see it again :)

Beautiful production, excellent cast. Overall fabulous experience that occasionally brought tears to my eyes despite being an almost carbon copy of the film I've seen at least 100 times! My only complaint was that by being in the balcony (which I prefer because I feel i can get a better overall view of everything going on) sometimes the Beast's head wasn't visibly when he was on top of the breakaway staircase. Perhaps changing the top part of the scenery where he wasn't hidden by vines would have helped. Regardless, can't wait to see it again!

I would have to say the show was perfect. i was only disapointed that they were not selling posters for the show. i have been going to broadway shows both on and off broadway for about 17 years. and i have a poster from each and every single one. (this is not my first time seeing "Beast") and i am sad to say, i do not have a poster for the 2011 tour. only the orginal. Oh well. But again the show was perfect.

Absolutely loved this musical. Gaston and Lefou really stole the show with their overblown antics and were hilarious. Belle and the Beast were also superb, and I just wonder how much of the Beast's reactions were made up on the spot. Either way, it was touching and totally captivating.

The show itself was wonderful! Great performances by everyone involved! But.......the 2 year old sitting behind us pretty much ruined our enjoyment of it. She talked and cried, she jumped on the back of our seats, she was in motion and noisy for the entire time. Parents- if you know your child won't be able to sit through an evening musical, please get a sitter! (There were many other children in attendance who were fine, so I know that this doesn't apply to most people!)

Best musical since Wicked at Chrysler Hall. The cast really brought out the personalities of the characters. Vocals were amazing, costumes beautiful and loved the detail. As the scenes were changed I loved how the "stage hands" were part of the decor for the sets. I would see this show again or any other by this company.

It wasn't the Lion King on Broadway but was awesome in it's own right. I am a Disney fan and Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites. I loved how they made the dishes come to life. I also thought it was really cool how the scenery was changed and moved around during the performance. The only thing I would change is the costume for Belle's father. He looked more like a clown than a father. Oh, and the rose wasn't what it was like in the movie. I wish it could have been better designed to loose a petal. From my view, I couldn't see it.
