No other artist around has stage presence like Josh Ritter. Never once did he stop smiling or laughing in his performance. I have seen many shows, but this concert takes the cake by far. His ability to read the crowd and perform songs that involve participation from the audience is uncanny. Never have I seen an artist unplug his instruments and sing in the dark with the crowd. His narrative music coupled with sweet melodies and joyful stage presence makes for the most memorable show out there. I would see this show every night for the rest of my life if I could.

Here's to you Josh Ritter. Thanks for your life changing music and performances!

Josh is an amazing artist. His balance of intelligence, humor, and warmth make every album and every concert experience uplifting and special. His appreciation for his audience is unsurpassed, and he never fails to deliver a memorable show.
The event staff were pleasant and relaxed, and the audience was fun-loving and respectful. Overall this was one of my top 10-15 concerts I've attended.Feli

I've seen Josh over 10 times, first in 2003. I love that Zach and Sam are still with him. Musically, he is still very good. This show, I was disappointed there was nothing from Golden Age. Yes, he's plugging his latest record, which isn't great, in my opinion. Very little stage banter, just a few vague references to Mall of America (is that all that's in Minneapolis?) as well as a Lewis and Clark reference (who never even went through Minnesota). I could have done without his political commentary about marriage. All in all good to see him, as always, he's energetic, physically, jumping up and down between songs, but ultimately his act left me a little disappointed this time.

Josh Ritter came on stage full of energy and joy. The material was mostly from his new CD, which came out of his failed marriage, as we learned later in the evening.

His band was nerdy but great; and I enjoyed the concert thoroughly.

he has been one of my favorites for a few years, and he is even better live.

Josh is an energetic performer to behold. I was mesmerized at his sheer exuberance! He was also very serious and poignant at times. Once, paying homage to the recent Boston Marathon tragedy (he dedicated the show to it) and other times in reflection. The band was on point. The sound/lights were handled adeptly. It honestly couldn't have been improved!

Josh Ritter and his band has the most energy and never fails to put on the most amazing show. It was worth the travel We drove to Columbus form Akron and it was well worth it. The Soithern Theatre was a wonderful venue.
