I'll start with the only negative part of the night, Karnivool's opening act (Tides of Men?) were absolutely terrible. However, seeing Karnivool was well worth the wait/torture. The ticket prices were cheap. I would have gladly paid more to see them. The crowd was small (150-200 people), however, everyone was singing along, and the floor was literally moving to people bouncing to the bass. Great time. I will definitely go see them again.
Also, for the venue: That's the first time I've been to the Masquerade, and I have to say, I thought it was a great place for a show. Karnivool played upstairs in a large room. The building is made of stone on the inside, which has a great look. I was impressed for a smaller venue. The drinks were a bit pricey. $4.50 for a bottle of beer. $3.00 Draft. $1.50 very small cup of coke. $4.00 for a small Redbull. Those are the only prices I know.
Summary: GO SEE KARNIVOOL
