I have been listening to First Aid Kit for over 2 years now, and I have been a big fan for a long time. I was so excited to go see the show. This is one of those bands that just sound better live. Klara and Johanna have such great personalities on stage, and caught eyes with me on several occasions followed by a small smile. You can tell they really truly care about the crowd, and they love to see people singing back. They are just normal girls and that shows through in how humble they are on stage.
After the show, they mentioned they would be at the merch table to meet and sign stuff! I was so excited. I was standing at the front barricade dead center stage, so I had quite the fight to get to the merch table. By the time I got to meet them, they seemed super tired and ready to go to sleep. I know they had to go to San Francisco the next day (8 hour drive), so I bet they weren't super happy. I am glad I met them and got a signed vinyl and cd, plus a photo with them, but it's always hard to see one of your favorite artists just in kind of a sour mood.
Show was great, meet and greet was okay, super awesome show all around.
