The FMDG's put on a great show. My favorite part was actually watching the pre-bout with the newer girls. Amazing girls at all levels! I will be at the next bout!!

My first roller derby, and it was a blast. Fast paced action from the start to finish. The girls worked hard, and never gave up. Hope to attend another derby in the future. Love those Derby Girls

Attending the FM Derby Girls event was so much fun. The crowd was into it, the girls were great to watch, even the house music was good. If you're thinking about going - do it! You won't be disappointed.

This was so much fun!! The FM girls got SLAUGHTERED! They were playing a team out of their league, but it was awesome. One of the girts speared(head butted) a ref and started fighting him. it was awesome they had to restrain her. I've never been to a derby bout, but i am already addicted to it. BRING IT ON

Doors did open as advertised at 6:30, but the main event didn't start until 8:00. That meant a half hour in line outside the doors and one and a half hours sitting and waiting in the seat listening to horribly amateurish music by the marginally able but loud local band Broken Roots. For thirty of those minutes the teams Bitter and Sweet skated weakly against one another. When the real teams began skating, there was competition for the first four minutes, then F-M went ahead by leaps and bounds and Duluth never came within half of the F-M score. Place was packed, refreshments were mediocre (no choice of quality items -- beers available were Bud Light and PBR), definitely not worth the money.
