Went to the Commandos Football game 3/3/12, was celebrating Best Buddy Day with my Son. We had good seats first row near the endzone, and great free parking across the street. gave my Son money to get drinks and snacks for the both of us, and can't actually believe he game me change back. What a well affordable wonderful evening we had.

Everything was wonderful except for the interaction with the fans I have been to Inexorably football games that have every time out and media time outs that would get the crowd more into the game. Other than that was an awesome game

This was the Continental Indoor Football League Championship Game which did not disappoint with the Commandos beating the Marion Blue Racers and repeating as league champions. The Commandos games in the Cincinnati Gardens are a blast and very affordable. There's lots of talent on the team with local high school or college connections and the players are very approachable. There was free parking and we had great seats right behind the bench.

Commandos should be looking to find a league that will test them. First three drives of the game into the endzone, I started to think with 7 minutes to go before the half and the score like 48 to 13, they might hit a hundred. They lost some intensity in the second half, but started having fun. Noticed many of the players started listening to the music and exchanging banter (fun) with the fans. It's really the line play on both sides of the ball, the opponent has no time to throw and our O-line gives the QB plenty of time to look at all recievers. Should be the first repaet championship in Cincinnati in a long time this weekend. To bad more people don't get out and watch, it's good entertainment for the dollar, tickets for under 10 bucks.

the team its self was great. hearing all of them left because of bad running of the team. i believe it because we never got balls rpomised to us amongst the time it took to get called back, dont hold your breath. sad to see such great players be a part of a bad organization. not to mention the gardens are run down and need to be renovated no AC makes it about 110 degrees inside miserable to try to cheer for a team i didnt want to move!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great game, great seats. My only negative is that The Gardens is not air conditioned and it was truly like an oven in the stadium. Worse than sitting at a 90* baseball game because there was no chance for air flow.

Was an awesome time, it was my first time seeing and I was very caught off guard with indoor football. I would highly recommend anyone to try it at least once!

I appreciate the game had two start time delays to allow the fans time to get into the Gardens. I guess they didn't expect the crowd they were going to get and had to delay start time to allow people to park and get to their seats. Team after a rough start, trouble getting the snap, they gelled quickly. Defense looked good and offense was unstoppable once they got started. I'm looking forward to the next game at the Gardens, 26th of March.

For just $17 I had a second row seat to a very entertaining night of arena football at the good old Cincinnati Gardens. Despite the late arriving crowd, which held up the opening kickoff, the evening turned into another great night at the Gardens.
Free parking and $1 beer seemed to pull in a lot of fans, but there must have been some fine print I didn't notice, because the beer price was only good for the beginning of the game and was limited to one brand, but this is a new franchise and maybe that's something that will be expanded down the road.
The only disappointment was the pathetic Commandos gear for sale - it was virtually non-existent. Seems like the management lost out on a sure money making opportunity. The few T-shirts for sale were all high school sizes, Maybe the team was wary of investing in a supply for the first night, but I couldn't find anything to spend my money on.
I never went to a Cincinnati Rockers game, so this was my first in person look at arena football, and I enjoyed it - it actually looked and felt like football. The public address system and the playing service leave a lot to be desired, but just like with an event at the Gardens, you did begin to feel excitement as the game got underway.
The game itself was entertaining, if not somewhat confusing at times. Several penalties went unexplained (partially because you can barely understand the public address announcements), but it was still a smash mouth brand of football being played. The locals rallied from a pitiful start to win going away, and then invited fans onto the field afterward to meet players and get those beloved autographs.
Overall it was a great night of entertainment, and I know I'll be going back a few more times to see the Commandos play.
