Racing was great but the beer gardens or should I say lack there of needs work. VIP areas looked great but empty so I don't know why they couldn't let the folks in with money to spend at these locations. The one public beer garden was at the far end from our seats and with only 10 tables and 6 unbrella's what was the point.

Weather was great! Grandstand seats were not the same as last year- BB was changed to the south of the covered VIP seats which prevented us from; 1, seeing the pits and 2. from seeing the "Start-Finish' line.
There was a bit more variety in terms of events and concessions, however there were too many beer gardens at the north end and too few at the south--and the price of beer was outeragous--$7.50 per CAN!
We have bought 4 seats since the inception of Champ Car,in 2005,
I Am not buying tickets again until: !. track layout is confirmed. 2.Seats are confirmed. 3. Beer is cheeper. 5.Ratio of corporate to Average Joe Customer is skewed back ton the average fan.

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
