You have to see Tyler Perry's Madeas Big Happy Family when it comes to your city! It is an excellent play that will make you laugh, cry, shout, sing and think. This was an amazing way to pay tribute to his mother. We are so blessed that he was able to share this with us and help others realize how precious their own families are. Not to mention all the practical advice he gives to the audience. This play is a must see!

The play was absolutely wonderful. ALL of the performers were truly talented. The young man that sang the last song in the play was truly "off the chain". Tyler Perry is truly a God inspired, talented man who gives back to the public. I LOVE EVERYTHING he has written. My hat is off to him for his steadfastness!

WOW, is what I think about Madea's BIG Happy Family! The play touched on a very REAL subject, Cancer. This story was sooo real that I was able to indentify with because a dear friend is going through the exact experience now. However, while touching on such a real and serious subject, Tyler Perry was still able to add humor, filled with a lot of laughter as everyday LIFE was included with twist and turns that often affect an entire family. As always, ANY plays that include "Madea" are ALWAYS a joy to see and hear. Then, with the surprising appearance AND song, sang by audience member Jill Scott, was an added surprise and GREAT! A MUST SEE! :)

We loved it!! It was really exciting to see Tyler Perry live! and what a cast! Fabulous singing that amazed me and at times brought me to tears. I loved how Tyler Perry could encorporate the city a bit into the show, making funny comments about Seattle or make a remark about real moments that would happen on stage. He could come out of character and then in a heart beat was right back to Madea. I just wish I has closer seats. A wonderful night out!

every time tyler perry comes in detroit i am one of the first one to get tickets. i am a tru fan i have all the tv series his book have all his movies and everyone of his plays. he is tryly an inspiration and good at everything he does.

Not to much thought went into this play. I felt he rushed through writing it.. Lots of ablib in the play. Truly not his best.

The dialogue was witty, fun and kept me laughing the entire time. The improv at various points kept you anticipating what could have been some otherwise standard punch lines. Tyler Perry's socially conscious monologue at the end of the play was good to hear. We also had a special treat with Ophra Winfrey and Gail in the audience just four rows up from where my girlfriend and I were sitting! That was really cool! The best birthday present for my girlfriend. I was in like Flynn.....

We bought tickets, flew to NYC (from Miami) just to see this play and Madea. It was worth every penny (and it was not cheap)
We enjoyed the storyline, the singing, which was very powerful, and the added unscripted comments of Madea!
the entire experiance was great. We left the Garden, pured ourseves in a taxi laughing, and headed to JFK for Miami having had a wonderful day.

Me & my Wife enjoyed ourselves so much. We had great seats (front row-center). This tickets to the show was a gift to my wife in an effort to help rekindle my marriage & it did the job. It aloud for both of us to just enjoy the show & remind ourselves whats really important in our lives which is our family. Mr. Perry does GREAT EVERYTIME being able to bring family out of peoples hearts. Thank You Tyler Perry. Hopefully we'll see you soon...

The is one of the best play Tyler Perry's has done. It is hard to top his past performances, but he has done it. I went to see it twice at Madison Square Garden and enjoyed both performances. The hevenly scene really blew me away. Keep up the good work after your needed rest.

It was a wonderful play. My husband & I had floor seats and the message gave me goose bumps. My husband says that he does not want to see the plays on television anymore, but instead 'live & in person'.

Tyler Perry did an excellent job with his performance and his cast members definitely out did themselves. I absolutely enjoyed this play because I am a strong supporter of Perry and his wonderful talent that he expresses from time to time. I was glued to the stage from the beginning to the end and I never left my seat to make sure I wasn't missing a single line that was said LOL. I laughed until I couldn't laugh anymore and I somehow found myself in tears because I found a similar part of me embedded in a familiar scene. It was a great way to spend my Sunday evening and I was so excited due to the fact that that was my first time ever seeing one of his plays live. If you love to laugh, enjoy having the truth sung to you, and appreciate wonderful people with exquisite talent.....you will definitely love this play and would not regret any time considering it. I definitely recommend it and enjoy :-)
