I was already looking forward to this event, but it was even better than I thought it would be. The two bouts, w/ their huge come-from-behind wins were fantastic. I will definitely be back next season.

Awesome bout! Burning River Rollergirls rule. If you have not experienced Cleveland rollerderby, I highly suggest you check it out next season.

The Burning Rivergirls Roller Derby was so much fun. You can go right down on the track practically and sit as close you want, or you can grab a seat in the stands, either way you can get a great seat no matter where you go. The action was lively, the announcers were hilarious and the crowd was interesting. I would highly recommend getting out and supporting your Burning River Rollergirls!

We took the family to the bout last Saturday. My girls (age 6 and age 15) are both ready to become Cleveland Firestarters now. The last bout between the Rolling Pin Ups and the Cleveland Steamers was so close at the end! The girls showed extreme althletic ability and some amazing HEART! My 6-year-old woke up the next day after "dreaming about roller derby"!
So glad that girls can see positive roll models and learn that agression isn't always bad.
Boys shouldn't have all the fun!

I hadn't been to see the roller derby since the 70's. When I saw that it had come back, I was so excited and wanted to go. My son had never seen it before so I talked him into going with me. How disappointing to find out that it changed from the 70's. No ring, no violence like it used to be. That was what made it so entertaining. What happened?????????????? I want my Thunderbirds back!!

Wolstein center is the best choice facility. the place is awsome. very exciting event for any age at a great price. seating is fantastic, you can see from anywhere. but most importantly, the girls, their sportsmanship and commoratery is unmatched whitch makes these bouts more fun and you want to come back. LOVED IT.

This was my first time at the Burning River Rollergirls rollerderby event....my daughter and I had a blast! We liked how they explained how the game is played and scored, and because this game went into double overtime, it made it that much more worthwhile!

This was such a great event! I really enjoyed watching the competition and the fast-paced action. I would definitely attend this event again and I'm consider purchasing the season tickets just based on this first time experience.
If you don't know anything about the sport, the announcers and event program ($2) will explain how the players score and what is consider legal hits.

I enjoyed it very much. Went a little slow for me, would rather see a little more competitiveness. Get a little rougher cause we like a little excitement.

Fantastic bout between the Pin-ups and Hard Knockers. Pin-ups skated their freaking legs off for the winning points in the last few minutes of the game. One the best bouts I've ever seen.

Rollergirls were fantabulous! We were fresh meat, so we had no idea what to expect. These girls are very talented skaters, and so entertaining! Musical chairs at half-time was a hoot!

My sister & I had a wonderful time - We ALWAYS attended when it was held in North Olmsted, but when it moved to the East side, we stopped attending, but missed it greatly.
I live in North Ridgeville & my sister lives in Parma Heights. Now that it will be held in the Wolstein, we are going to purchase season tickets.
