Location:San Antonio
Mr McBride and his band Inside Straight were hot and cookin'. They played an amazing set with all participants showing their skill and technique with ease. Unfortunately, San Antonians have little appreciation for straight ahead jazz, as evidenced by the lukewarm reception offered as these men played. Too bad... true jazz lovers will still have to go to Austin, Houston or Dallas (real "big cities") to see the artists they like.
