What an incredible experience. It was more amazing than I expected. Not only does he have an amazing voice, but he's incredibly funny and personable. He played for over two hours and included all of my favorite Who songs, plus songs from different artists. It was an intimate experience filled with great songs and funny stories about the band. It truly was a wonderful experience!

Roger Daltrey was outstanding at his "Use It or Lose It" show in NYC at the Nokia Theatre on Nov. 20th. At 60+ years old, the rock icon can still belt out a tune with his strong voice and plays a pretty smooth guitar. With a good mix of WHO songs, solo tunes and his personal favorites, including the Johnny Cash hit "Ring of Fire", Roger kept the audience wanting more all night long. The only song I wanted to hear that wasn't played was "Under a Raging Moon" - a tibute to former WHO drummer Keith Moon. Maybe next time. During the latter half of the show, Roger was a bit "fired up" as a heckling fan wanted more singing rather than Roger's storytelling about the history of some of his songs. In an intimate venue like the Nokia Theatre, I liked the personal touch by Roger Daltrey to interract with the audience more. Hopefully one day I'll get a chance to meet this rock legend and hear some storytelling off stage. Anyway, WHO fans young and old will enjoy Roger's "Use It or Lose It" show, which also features the fantastic guitar work by Simon Townshend - Pete's younger brother.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to 9th row-center seats at the Roger Daltrey concert at the Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana last night. The show was a treat indeed! I saw The Who's (first) farewell concert in 1983 in Los Angeles...Let me just say that although the other members of The Who were not present, Roger performed his favorites with a great band. He chose his band members well, and together, they rocked the house! They did Who Are You, Behind Blue Eyes, Baba O'Reiley, and even some of the older Who tunes were a pleasant surprise. His solo songs were great, and sung from his heart; his love and passion for who he is were humbly, but powerfully performed. Roger's vocal talent is as strong as it ever was...He opened with "Who are you"...when I saw him perform this song in '83 he jogged in place for the duration of the song and when he belted out the last line, he was NOT out of breath...although he didn't jog last night, it is clear he is still in great shape. He takes care of himself, and I will go as far to say that his ENERGY is dynamic. He was intimate with the audience. He chatted, and told stories about himself, his days on the road, and his love of the world, and his fans. His smile is still electrifying, and it comes from the inside out. THIS SHOW IS A MUST SEE! Rock on, Roger!

I never saw Tommy performed when the Who were touring it, but I almost feel like I have now. Roger was in fantastic form, his voice still as good as I remember from seeing the Who in the 70s. He's got an amazing band with him, and Simon Townsend on guitar was an added treat. I was amazed how much he sounded like Pete on Going Mobile. The performance was excellent, and the video projection was wonderful, school kids artwork. He's still swinging that mike like he did in his younger days, and was full of energy. The sound was great. Not too loud, didn't even wear my earplugs. But still had that bass thumping me in the chest! Wonderful! I will certainly try to see Roger again. Loved it!

Roger Daltrey and his band was phenomenal and rocked Tommy and other Who songs at the highest level. Personally I was not sure what to expect and one of my friends had some doubts going in, mainly due to uncertainty of the accompanying band. When we left, both of us were scouring his schedule for the next closest venue. I'm not sure any current band of this generation could even pull off a show even in the same neighborhood. It really was amazing, and I've seen The Who many times and cannot say that this show was not up to par with of the others, and then some because of the smaller venue. Roger, keep rockin!

Also first time to Windsor Caesars concert hall, and it was very excellent too.

When I last saw Roger in concert, at Humphrey's by the Bay, I had decided I no longer needed to see him live again. The music, and Simon Townsend were awesome, but Roger's voice was so lacking I figured recorded music would meet my need. But, when I saw that a Tommy tour was coming, I had to go, at least this one more time, to hear Tommy live. Well, Roger has been able to get his voice back , strong enough to carry him through an entire, vocally-strenuous performance. The video backgound was highly entertaining, but the music, presented with gusto both instrumentally and vocally, was truly outstanding and memorably enjoyable. I'd now see Roger again in a heartbeat.

The jump directly into Tommy was awesome. Nonstop music for 1 hour. Simon Townsend did Pete fabulously. What happened that the seats were not full and I could not buy additional tickets the day before. Did Ticktetmaster's computer system fail?

I was fortunate enough to be in LA to see Tommy performed in 1989 with The Who and guests. An opportunity like this to see Tommy performed in it's entirety was another once in a lifetime event. Although struggling at times with his voice octaves, Roger Daltery is still the same awesome performer he's been for the last 40 odd years. If you have a chance to see him live, take it. You won't regret it.

Roger continues to wow with his vocals, despite having throat surgery over the past two years. He did request that no one smoke as it messed with his vocals and indeed at one point in the show he struggled. After one more plea, the smokers finally stopped and he was able to finish the show in full force. Roger, Simon and the rest of the band appeared to really enjoy themselves by playing around and goofing with each other on stage. Roger showed his smile on several occasions and the roar of the audience encouraged him on after each song. Dispite not doing an encore no one felt cheated out of a fantastic performance.

Began as an iconic rock n roll event ! Everyone at the concert was transported back in time 40 years and given the gift of experiencing the rock opera "Tommy" as real as it ever was. Then that portion of the show was over and so was the experience. Now we were kids in a lecture hall being reprimanded for our bad manners by a stodgy, arrogant, classless (I mean, really, does a 65-year-old man have to throw the word "pussy" around to get our attention) prima donna. I totally understand the man's concern with second-hand smoke, especially since he gave us more than enough information on how he and his talent are personally affected, but as Supernanny will tell you, say something once with authority; don't nag or they'll just tune you out. The second part of the concert was technically as impressive as the first, but the mood had definitely been brought down and his chit-chat between songs no longer seemed sincere. As quickly as my love affair with Roger Daltrey had begun, it was over.

They should have at least did a quick video chat with Pete. We miss him! But the band was phenomenal. I swear Keith Moon somehow possessed the drummer and had the reins! The guitarist (whom I would love to rap some Nihongo with) was AMAZING! The rythym guitarist with his nice vocal; I can't say enough about the gig. Roger seems as spry as ever (mike cord wasn't goin' too far out from his person though; must of been some lawsuits!LOL). I SERIOUSLY HOPE THEY PUT OUT A LIVE ALBUM OF THIS!!! I'LL BUY IT!!!

OMG...Roger was absolutely AMAZING!!! Love the movie TOMMY and they rocked it! His voice is stiil Awesome and Roger was funny and loved the way he talked to us, like he was have a conversation with friends :) Simon was GREAT just like his brother, really enjoyed his performance and the rest of the band was great also. All in all, perfect show...best concert I have seen since he was here in 2009 and that was AMAZING also! I felt sooo good when I left the show but that is was The Who's music does for me! Wish I could afford to travel and see the show many more times. Thank you Roger for such an amazing evening!!!!!!!!

What a fantastic show! From the first song "It's a boy Mrs. Walker" to the last "Listening to You" Roger and Simon had the house rocking. We laughed we cried, we sang! It brought back so many great memories. Me and all my sisters were there together, it was wonderful. I loved that it was the original Tommy LP version, it made it all the more special.
Then Roger and Simon went on to sing several other songs which were awesome.
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the whole night. I wish Roger would tour more and just sing whatever he wants!

Have always liked Tommy, and always thought hearing it played live by the Who would be special. While that isn't possible anymore, this was the next best thing, and Roger Daltrey was terrific.

The opening act was refreshing and set the stage for Tommy. Roger Daltrey delighted with his microphone tossing and visually stunning projection screens accompanying the music to Tommy. After Tommy, Roger and his band paid homage to American rock by covering Johnny Cash and a few others. He also played classic Who tunes. The music kept the crowd singing and on their feet until the house lights came on signaling the time to leave. All in all a great show!
