My 9 year old daughter and I saw Owl City in Cincinnati on 4-14-13. The musicians were very good, the live versions of his songs were good, and the band was very energetic but the bass was way too loud and over powering. There were a lot of songs where we could not hear the vocals or keyboards at all.
He ended the show with Good Times, and had his keyboard player handle some of the lyrics and we couldn't hear a word she sang. This had the potential to be a really great show but his trademarks are the vocals, harmonies and synthesizers which we could barely hear. Our seats were half way up and dead center.
The only other thing that was a personal wish was that he played almost everything from his newest album. I would have liked to have hear a little more from his older albums.
Despite that, we would go again and generally enjoyed the show.
