Me and my girlfriend attended the show on May 3rd and ended up leaving 40 minutes into it because we were not enjoying ourselves. The songs are great, but the actors chosen for the roles did not do them justice. I could tell that the male lead could probably sing a broadway-like song, but Rock and Roll should not be on his resume. I kept thinking throughout the entire show that he was singing badly on purpose just to show that he is new breaking into the rock and roll business, but he just never got better. I cringed every time he opened his mouth. The female lead was just as bad, if not worse. She couldn't sing, she over-acted, and she really brought nothing to the show. The ensemble singing was not too bad, but the main actors ruined the show. When Stacee Jaxx came on stage and started singing, me and my girlfriend got up and left.
It's a great show with great music that I would love to someday see on Broadway, but this show was awful and was absolutely not worth the price of the seats.
