Great show, but the crowd was talking too much and pissed off the lead singer, which led to a general breakdown with the crowd. I don't blame him though.

I was so excited when I found out The Gaslight Anthem was coming to Detroit! Having only seen them at a music festival before, I really wanted to see a headlining show. Not only were the opening acts a lot of fun (of course they were, it was The Bouncing Souls) but Gaslight proceeded to play for almost two hours, in a great mix of old and new material. Loved it!

Despite the openers being mediocre, The Gaslight Anthem came out rockin'. They played a lot of music and Brian Fallon captivates the crowd with wit peppered by snark and irreverence.

The band came out firing and kept the pace going throughout the show. Band's performance was "tight" throughout the show and Brian Fallon remains one of the best frontmen in live music!
Truly one of the best live shows you can see!

I didn't get into their backlog as much as I should have. Everyone else seemed to love their set. They played a lot from Handwritten. They were pretty good, though at times seemed a bit generic. Laura Stevenson was okay, I've never heard them.

Openers came on stage with a lot of energy, but the crowd wasn't really that engaged. Greek Fire came next, and killed with exceptional musical skill and showmanship. Guest appearance from lead singer of Story of the Year. Glorious return of Johnny Venus.

Gaslight Anthem had a more mellow approach to the night, though their soundcrew did not. Bass drum was cranked a bit loud- still have tinnitus in my right ear, from a "lighter alternative" group. Several friends commented that it was a hell of a lot louder than Halestorm's performance the week prior. So- good list, level too d@%& high. Kept it from being a 5-star show.

The Gaslight Anthem is an amazing band and they are true artists. You could see the passion and hear it in their voices and the way they played. The band played for nearly 3 hours and nothing could have been done to improve their performance. The openers, Greek Fire and River City Sound, were terrible though. It was honestly hard to get through their performances. I usually don't even write reviews and I'm not trying to dis these bands, who are less well known than Gaslight, but they were so terrible they didn't deserve to even share the stage with such amazing performers as Gaslight.

gaslight anthem was awesome..played every song i wanted to hear..both old and new and played for awhile..the venue was great as well, i was a skeptic of the venue based on prev reviews but it wasnt that bad..didnt see any opening acts, just gaslight but i would def go see them again

The Gaslight Anthem is one of my favorite bands, so when I saw that they were playing in my town, New York City, you better believe I would be attending! It took me less than 3 minutes to purchase my tickets online and at a reasonable price with Ticketmaster. An immediate confirmation email was sent with the 'Print Tickets' option and I did not have to wait days to receive them through mail.
The show was great! Excellent venue: Terminal 5, a great space with not one bad seat (or stand in place position) in the house! Me & my girlfriend had a great time seeing one of our favorite bands. Ticketmaster made the event extremely easy to hear about, purchase tickets, and have the tickets in your possession.
