The House of Blues in Chicago is an awesome venue. Also Infected Mushroom is an awesome Israeli Psytrance Group! Would tell anyone to go and would go back again!

I will try to be concise. It is also worth noting that I am not super into electronic music, so this was a slight change of pace for me. I had heard of Infected Mushroom a long time ago but never really checked them out. My friend told me about this tour they were doing and it looked really cool so I wanted to see it.

Well... I would have to say it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. The stage production alone is worth the price of admission (around $30 for a ticket, not bad at all) and Infected Mushroom absolutely killed it, keeping everyone dancing the whole time. They definitely are great at creating interesting music that's not your typical crappy boom-tss-boom-tss that so many electronic artists use as a crutch.

The crowd was pretty good, too, which is always a relief. I have found it increasingly difficult to find good concert crowds, but most everyone was cool. I wish I could see this show again because it was awesome! I hope they have a recording of this tour somewhere because I think more people need to see it.

I arrived at 7pm and waited the hour in line outside for the doors to open, then waited against the rail for another hour for Randy Seidman to come on. He was good, his music was good. An hour went by and I wondered how much longer until Infected Mushroom. Then an hour and a half. Then two hours. As he started packing up his gear, I was excited to see the band I paid to see, and then devastated when another TWO DJs came on stage for their "opening act". I had responsibilities the following day that wouldn't let me stay out into the late hours of the early morning, so I sadly left as two musicians I didn't want to see took the stage. I'm new to the ECM concert scene, so perhaps it's my own fault I didn't get to see Infected Mushroom. I was expecting an opening act that lasted an hour. MAYBE an hour and a half. 2 hours? And then ANOTHER opener?

It would be nice if there was some indication on the tickets or by the venue that said "Doors @ 8pm, Starts @ 9pm, Opening Acts for 2.5+ hours, then maybe you get to see your band". I didn't drive 6 hours from out of town to see Randy Seidman, no matter how talented or good he is. Unfortunately, my first ECM concert/rave experience will likely be my last.

We got there at the time the ticket said, and waited through 3 hours of djs only to find out that the band was not coming on until 1230.

We left along with a lot of other very pissed off people.

In the future they should print on the ticket when the main act is going to take the stage. I wish we could get a refund.

Their set looked INCREIBLE!!! I'm so glad they grew into the electric factory, the crowd and space were phenomenal.
The opening act (not M Machine) started the night off much too intense. M Machine was great and I loved the Philly shout out!

This was an unbelievable show. Infected had so much energy and had the croud going the entire time. Only issue was that the visuals weren't working most of the time which was disappointing because they were so amazing when they were on. That seems like it was the fault of the electric factory and now infected though. Can't wait to see their next show.

This is one of the best shows I've ever been to. Missed the openers, but god damn did Infected Mushroom rock my socks. Earsplitting grin on my face for all 2+ hours (and no, I was not on ecstasy :P). If you ever get the chance to see them, go.

I've seen them before and each time is always so amazing. This show in particular literally blew my mind, my best show of the summer. They had the crowd wiiiiild. It was an insane experience and I'd see them play again tonight if I could.

Setlist: Suggestion: the only thing I would change is possibly covering up the large mirrors around the second floor back bar area. I have a feeling those mirrors gave out the only bad vibes at the show. Mirrors do not fly well with amazing concert energy and spirits. @

Infected Mushroom was fabulous I would not change one thing about the setlist . There was so much amazing crazy energy in the room certain people could barely cope because it was too amazing. It shed new light on terminal 5.

On stage Amit mentioned they had some difficulties for the show that night, he didnt elaborate, but their show seemed like they had all things together, too bad they didnt sing their biggest hits.
I mean going unplugged for "vegetarians" was cute, but when i pay $50 in total for this show i expect to hear all their hits and if they must unplug that should be a 2nd round.

It was somewhat short, about 1.5 hours, the opening band was2.5 hours. They did not mention that anywhere so getting there at 8, for an 11:30 show really sucked.

In addition, NO WHERE was it mentioned about needing an ID to get in the venue and my friend had to cab it all the way home and back to bring her passport, that sucked. Ok granted ppl should have an ID but in addition to all the above i was 50% satisfied and 50% not satisfied.

I like their work, but dont go with too many expectations.

I really enjoyed the show, as well as the two previous acts. Just which we could have gotten more information on when Infected Mushroom would go on stage....we got there at 8 pm, and was a bit shocked to hear that Infected won't be on till 11:30 PM - had to cancel some other late night plans.

But Infected Mushroom really delivered - SO DARK AND INTENSE!

The show was in 2 parts. The first was the regular "show" with all the newish and most popular songs. The visualizations were awesome. The 2nd part of the show was a DJ set with their older material.. very cool!
