The ticket stated "Doors open @ 7pm". We were able to get in only after 7:30 and the Mumiy Troll started to play only after 10 pm and played for only 1 hr. The sound was very bad, it was impossible to understand a word they were singing. If I knew that I had to wait for 3! hrs for the band to start playing I would come in later or would never buy a ticket at the first place. Wasted money and wasted Saturday night.

Well, the actual Mumiy Troll performance didn't start until almost 1 am instead of announced 9 pm. If knew, would have come much later.
Performance was good. Place could have been better. Am not sure if will go there again.

Performace was good. But the venue chosen for concert was too small, smoke-filled, and suffocating. Also, it was indicated on the ticket that concert starts at 9.00 pm, but it appeared that Mumiy Troll themselves started to perform at 12.30am. Waiting on foot was too exhausting.

The band was excellent! Ilia Lagutenko (main singer) was so interactive and enthusiastic! We had wonderful time dancing and singing along with the entire russian speaking community of town! Everything was outstanding!

Opening act(s): Murzik... very laid back choice, they're very good but I think they need a more energetic opening band. @

Great concert! This is one of the biggest groups ever to come out of Russia and the first time they came they played the 7th St Entry and now finally the main room at First Ave. The show this time was even better, a longer set list and they seemed to enjoy themselves even more, probably helped by the fact that it was the lead singer Ilya Lagutenko's birthday, so a rare treat for anyone! Very bare bones, just them, fans, and their music since they travel light. Hopefully they can build on this show and come back soon.

Ilya and the band gave their 110%. Minneapolis fans are very grateful for this excellent performance. Please come back soon.
For those, who are not the Russian speaking folks. I advise you to come to see the band next time or buy their CD "Comrade Ambassador". Ilya sings some songs in English. You will enjoy a very good quality music with rich sound and memorable vocals.

my parents were stuck outside for a fair amount of time to be let in and for the band to not have shown up. people said they were going to come in around 11 though the start time was supposed to be 8 so they decided to leave.
