The racing was great as always. I have been an NHRA fan and participant since the 1st championship in Great Bend, Kansas. Today's racers are the hardest working group around.

Good weather, facility was clean and organized. Seating arrangement was poor, the general seating was limited to one side of the track so we had to go from the trailer in the pits all the way to the other side of the track when our friends car was running to get good pictures. To upgrade from general seating was 15 dollars (kind of high).
All in All a good day, Allen won the race and had a great time.

NHRA is the place to go to get up close and personal with the racers. You can get right up to their pits, watch them work and smell the nitro!

Racing was excellent on the 6th of April. The Speedway always has everything ready and looking good for the fans. This is a very good venue.

What were the officials thinking? The turn-around time for the Nitro division--TF & FC was ridiculously fast, given the warm conditions. Many drivers had issues with blown engines and malfunctions and with such a short pit time, not every one was able to make it back for the next (LAST) qualifying heat!!! Several who did, still had problems.
There is no need to rush these teams during "qualifying". I get it for when the elimination rounds come, but many fans come out to enjoy all the racers--not just those that escape peril !!!.....I mean a paltry 4.88 for a TF to qualify for elimination is...well.... embarrassing!
Get it right NHRA.....or consult with NASCAR!

We really enjoy going to the drag races, but don't enjoy seeing all the little kids, that clearly don't like the loud noise, and I am amazed at the ignorant parents who do not have proper ear protection for their kids.
I am also confused as to the policy about not bringing coolers, which is on the website regarding things not allowed, yet I seen a lot of people with them.
