I saw lance at the Stanhope house in NJ and unfortunately they stuck him in a tiny room and he did over power the space. I had to listen in the next room but what I saw and heard was like watching Jimmy Hendrix and Stevie Ray together. he has extraordinary talent both vocally and his guitar playing was intense. I was impressed enough to buy 3 of the 4 CDs he had for sale expecting to rip a song or two off each for my I pod. I cant stop listening to them and wish I bought all 4. His studio work is superb and his Live show would be hard to beat his studio work but I wish I could have seen him in a bigger venue. If you like Texas Blues this is the real deal.
I think he tries a little to hard to impress with the guitar riffs, based on his studio work the guy is impressive enough. Now that Ive got his music in my head I want to see him again.
I'd be willing to start the NJ chapter of the Lance Lopez fan Club
