My wife and daughter and I had a great time seeing a hockey game inside the US Cellular Coliseum. I got to take my daughter's picture with the team mascot and a player. She also got to have her new team hat signed by five players of the team. My family and I are looking forward to seeing more sports in there. Not just hockey, but football and basketball.

The game itself was mostly exciting, however, there is not a whole of of fan interaction especially for the kids. Setup some booths for the kids so they can enjoy the entire experience, not just the game. Setup a hockey shooting exhibit for example. Have some sticks shoot some pucks at a target, etc.
Take some actual size images of two best players on the team put them up on the wall, with a measuring tape, kids stand next to the players and compare. Small stuff like this goes a long way!

Watching the Blaze play (and my local team the Dashers) during the NHL strike gave my the hockey fix I needed. I've been to several games and the atmosphere in Bloomington is amazing. I take my wife and son. Several times my brother and his wife joined us being local Bloomington people. I even took one of my little brothers to his first game this particular week. Great atmosphere and crowd. Will be going again. Made me realize how great the CHL is.
Food is a bit expensive for the quality but it is what it is. Get your popcorn before the first period if you want it hot!

Had a great time!!!! Cant wait to go again!!! I would recommend seats to my friends. Beer a little pricey. Was dissapointed on the crowd at the Hockey game. Its a fun time more people should come.

Prairie Thunder was outstanding as always! It was great to get an autograph from Denis Savard and cheer on the team. I like how they really worked to make it a great fan appreciation night. We will be coming back next year. The referees seemed to be losing interest in the game, however - they made several surprisingly bad (or non-existent) calls that even my children caught. Good luck PT on the playoffs!!

We really had a great time at the game! The Prairie Thunder never cease to deliver for fan enjoyment. The game was very physical and fast-paced and it was exciting all the way to when the PT won at the last minute in overtime!! Can't wait to see them again!!

We went to this game because the charity Guns N Hoses game was beforehand. We stayed for the entire game because it was great! We are huge NHL fans and now will look forward to seeing teams in the CHL and making as many Prairie Thunder games as possible. The Coliseum was clean and very easy to navigate, and there isn't a bad seat in the place. The game was high energy and very competitive - great on both sides. The interaction with the fans and the intensity of the game kept even the smallest children entertained for the entire game. Even the fans were well behaved for the most part. We will most certainly be coming back!
