I have to say I was rather disappointed in the hot dog and pop. Obviously they made a special smaller hot dog for this and they were premade and so stale that my 10 year old could not even eat it. And the special side soda was kind of a put off, I guess I need to read the fine print as I figure it would be a reg sized soda, no a special sized shot glass. The hockey product was very entertaining and great. Unfortunatley ticket prices and concession prices price us out of the market to go to many games, so the FSN deals sounded like I could bring my 10 year old to a game at a reasonable cost. That was not the case as we could not eat the hot dogs, the 1/2 of reg size of soda cup filled with ice was just rediculous.

The game was good. The seats are good anywhere in the arena. Game suxed because they lost but they had AAA players in. The event staff did great and were very helpful. It was a little confusing where to go to cash in the free beverages. Also did not get the mug as stated on the web site. All in all the people were great except the drunk Canadians next to us with the Jets Jersey..

The game was great! Wild won 5-2, so much excitement in the arena. It's always enjoyable going to the XCel Energy Center. Only downside....everything is pricey.....but you already know that going into it. Cheese curds were delicious!! As were the pizzas and, can't forget, the mini donuts! We had our 'seats' in the Standing Room Only section at the top of the lower level. You don't have an actual seat, but you have a specific spot at the rail. Loved these seats! You're able to mingle around with your group, rather than being stuck in a seat where you can't move. Able to see the whole rink perfectly! Nice thing is that in-between periods, people to get up so you can a few minutes to relax if you need to.

Overall, Great Time!!

Seats were good for what we paid and it was nice to get the hot dog and soda throw in with our deal.
The Wild didn't play well AT all but the memorial to Boogie was quite nice.

I was worried about the seats being so far up, but they were actually really good seats. Sec 223, Row 4. A little high up, but you can see everything! The only downside was they were shooting on the other side twice and only once on our side. But that's a minimal downside. It was a great/close game and they won! So even better.

I took my nine-year-old grandson to his first Minnesota Wild game. The game atmosphere was great. The Xcel Energy Center and Wild staff were great. They were so appreciative, happy and welcoming, Aand the Wild WON. What more could you ask for?

Came out to Minnesota to visit friends. The Xcel Center was a great venue, even the "nose bleeds" were great for the hockey game. Will definitely consider another fame when we visit again.
