I really purchased tickets because I wanted to please my girlfriend because she loves that kind of music. Well knowing all this I also went and I simply enjoyed the concert and I wasn't really into that kind of music! As it turned out, it was well worth the tickets and I was so glad that BBC Concert Orchestra came to Daytona Beach, Florida."Hooked" on BBC and my wonderfull gil that introduced me to this fine music...for those who know, she sometimes was called, Fay and I love her so.....

This concert was very entertaining and professional. The music selections were wonderful. The piano soloist was so talented and incredible! I'd certainly go see them again.

The musical pieces were brilliantly chosen and impeccably played. This orchestra sets a very high standard by which all others should be judged. They play a major part in The Proms at London's Albert Hall every year, and never a single glitch. Immaculate! Makes me proud to be British.

The orchestra was wonderful and the selection of music was good. For the piano concerto, either the acoustics are not good in Peabody, or the orchestra was too loud for the piano.

Love the dynamic mixture of British orchestra playing Russian symphony with American conductor. The control and technique was very good.

This was one of the most enjoyable concerts I've attended. The orchestra was first-rate and the conductor was excellent. The selections were delightful and beautifully performed. We were sad when the concert ended, we could have listened for another hour or two!

It was a wonderful evening even though we got there late because of traffic. But, we were able to sit in better seats! A great evening of music!

Aside from being put off initially by the lack of a printed program the evening of music was superb! A talented and supremely capable group of musicians ably and sensitively led by maestro Lockhart. The all Russian program was played with flair and polish. Bravo to all!

The performance was wonderful, especially the Russian-American pianist. However, the program did not include any details on the content of the concert or the featured musicians. Luckily, the conductor was informed and consented to inform the audience as to the content. Would still like to see details about the featured musicians.

My family and I went and truly enjoyed the event. It was wonderful to see the musicians so moved by their music. That definately came across to the audience in their performance.

The BBC Concert Orchestra was a great combination of classics, and yet a mixture that keep you engaged with anticapation of what was next. It was full of surprises with the second half of the show completely different than that the first half. Awesome, throughly enjoyed the entire show.

I'd never actually been to an orchestra "concert" aside from an occasional symphony in the park so I was not really sure of what to expect. The BBC Concert Orchestra lives up to their world renown title. Keith Lockhart was definitely the icing on the top. My only complaint is many of the audience members of the Fox seem to behave as if they are at a Braves game. This seems to be a common thing with the audience no matter what the event is. Unwrapping candy wrappers, bringing in stadium type food from the snack bar, cell phones being lit up every few seconds. I seriously feel the Fox would benefit by giving each audience member a 5 minute class before each show on how to conduct themselves. I'd definitely suggest seeing the BBC Concert Orchestra anytime...but in the presence of an Atlanta audience.
