This show was easily the most grown-up concert I've ever been to. Conor proved his musical ability by just walking out, picking up a guitar and singing. No fancy set, no pyro display, no costumes. Just a a microphone between singer and audience. I felt as though we could have been in someone's house, listening to a musically inclined friend play us a few songs. There was so much intimacy regardless of crowd size.
I wish every show could have that.
Also, the Boston Orpheum is beautiful! It's good to see old Theatres still in use.
