Very good racing this year. It has aluminum bleachers that get cold and hard. I recommend taking something to sit on. My seats were high enough that I think I felt the wind a little extra. Dress warmly:)

couple of things...leading and passing?...If you sat on the front row...you had it made as no one was going to catch nor pass you! Very seldom did anyone make a move from the back
The other thing is the dust!!! Whom ever designed the track should of studied the winds in the area...track should be turned around. Hard to really watch when you have dust in your eyes.

This was my first time at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and I was impressed with the way you kept the show moving. One race finished and the cars for the next race were on the track immediately. The racing was great. The weather was great. I hope to be back next year. What a show!

I attended Saturday night's World of Outlaws race. I loved it! The only thing I would have changed was if I had known I would have brought goggles to help keep the dirt out of my eyes. There were a ton of folks there that had them on and once the racing started you knew why. I am still wiping dirt out of my eyes. I saw a few people there with face masks on so that they didn't have to breath in the dirt and dust and that was really smart on their part.
The racing was Amazing. I was most impressed with how well organized the event was. I have been to tracks in the past where their was 20 minutes between races. Saturday night the Checkered flag would come out, as the cars pasted the start finish line they started slowing down and they exited on the back stretch. As they were exiting the next group was already coming out and 2 laps later the Green flag dropped. Fantastic organization.

This event is so much better than any that I have seen in the indoor arenas. They put on a great show! Thanks for coming to Charlotte! I will never be able to attend another monster truck bash at an indoor facility.

Absolutely the only monster truck event worth seeing in the Carolina's area. We have the Monster Jam shows at Greensboro and so on, they are a joke! Monsters at Charlotte is the closest thing in our area to Vegas or any of the televised monster truck shows. Thank you Charlotte!!! PS_ Would love to see this event grow to an East Coast Monster Finals Event one day!

The monster truck ride was amazing, lasted about 30-45 seconds but my son really enjoyed it. This was a birthday present. When the show actually began nothing beats the experience of an outdoor monster bash, not a truck went home in 1 piece and all the drivers said it was completely intentional so that we all had a great show.

I have taken my kids to this event the past 2 years because the love it. They look forward to it for weeks and I always get hugs and thank you for taking them.
I only wish the breaks between races, etc was so long. My back and bottom kill me by time the show ends. But, it is easy to ignore when the trucks are on the tracks!

I've been going to Monster Truck shows since the original Bigfoot came to Metrolina Speedway/Fairgrounds back in the '80's.
This show looked like a replacement driver/truck show. No big names nor popular trucks. There's usually at least one headliner that makes it worthwhile.
I was glad to see there was no filler motorcycle races to kill time.
It was not a wasted night though. My 15 year old son still likes to go so we had a good time but even he said it was kind of lame.

I love monster trucks and my boys do to. The cost of the event was okay, bringing your cooler into the event AWESOME, but there was to many people smoking all around me and my family and then it took forever to get the night over with. I needs to be no smoking except in certain areas and then move the show along to 2 hours tops. My 3 year old was so restless with nothing happening.

This even t was awesome. Well worth the money. It was well put together, loved the racing track set up. Pit party was above the top. I would definately love to see it again next year. ONly diappointment was there was no dirt track racing after the event as posted that there has been in previous years. I would definately reccomend that you bring back a late model race agaiun after next years event!!!

As the title says, this is our fourth year attending this event. My son is now 5 and my daughter is 3. They look forward to it every year. The event has seemed to grow and improve each year. The organizers seemed to have listened to some of the criticisms and made some great changes. The pre-show is great, but extremely limited in space. Everything is free, but the area is small and lines are long. However this year Jack In The Box was there giving out FREE burgers. Great addition!

The show itself has gotten better. Our first year they had dirt car racing and that just dragged out the event and nobody came to see that. We want the monster trucks. The course has improved over time. I think the only thing they should do away with is the qualifying. This too drags the night out a little too long. We just want to see them race and freestyle.

Overall I highly recommend this event for the family. GREAT family friendly environment. You can bring your own coolers and bags of food. HUGE plus for a family on a budget.
