I'm a pretty big fan of MGMT, particularly of their Congratulations and Oracular Spectacular stuff. My sister and I showed up hopeful for a good show. The Burton Cummings Theatre doesn't have a bad seat in the place and the energy was high among the younger audience. Andrew and the guys played a good mix of tracks but the flow seemed a little off and their stage presence left something to be desired... no comments or banter, no quirks or high energy just the music.
Later as the applause got heavier for the encore they returned to play just a couple more songs and didn't even end on a high note. I'd argue that the majority of the young-20 somethings in the audience were there to mainly hear Electric Feel, Time to Pretend and Kids. I guess 2 out of 3 isn't bad.

Favorite moment: The girls in front of us dressed in matching mom jean cut off shorts who encouraged a solo concert goer to rock out with them. @
Opening act(s): I don't even know. They weren't all that hot. @
