Torche was amazing, loud, and awesome! Howards did an excellent job with the sound that night. It was a great setting to see these guys play in and I can not wait to see them in a huge venue. The first two opening bands were ok. Bathhouse Betty was real good.

From England. Wanted to see a live gig whilst in New York, searched for ages online and then found this. Missed first band but saw part chimp and torche who were both v good. Mercury Lounge is a good venue, what you'd expect from a gig place - narrow bar, dark stage area, a few seats round the sides - a bit like the Manchester Student Union bar.
Part Chimp are from London I believe - quite good, nothing extermely new or edgy...the last song was by far the best I think. Torche were also good, a little less hard core than I thought they were going to be...
