I wasn't sure what to expect because I've only seen Eddie with Pearl Jam, but he is still the man! Loved the entire show and hope he does more solo concerts.

Favorite moment: Probably when Ed played "Society" with the guy who wrote it. Although, I liked the song better when Liam Finn played with him in Chicago. @

As usual, Vedder was on. The Lyric, as a venue, simply made his voice sound that much better, too. He refrained from playing a lot of the songs that I hate hearing, and played a few that we didn’t hear when we were in Chicago last year. It was essentially the same exact concept as in Chicago, but with a varied playlist – same opening act, same backdrops, same stage set, etc., so there really isn’t much to add to our experience. Liam Finn was entertaining, and we even got to briefly meet him after his set. Nice guy…too bad Vedder going on cut our time together short.
If you haven’t seen Vedder solo, get a ticket…that is, if he ever tours solo again. I’m willing to say that I’ve enjoyed his solo shows more than nearly every Pearl Jam show that I’ve seen. Maybe it’s the jaded Pearl Jam fan in me…maybe it’s the intimate setting…who knows. He’s just so much clearer, and much more musically powerful, when he’s not fighting the noise around him. His personality opens up a bit more, and he’s a lot more entertaining than you would think if you had only seen him front Pearl Jam. It’s really all about the emotion shining through, though. Despite all of the drinking and smoking, he can still use his voice to carry a room like very few people.

Favorite moment: The "NO More War" song. I have friends who waved goodbye to their children at airports and said goodbye at cemeteries. Sad. Tears. @
Setlist: I had a pencil, paper, and plenty of blue light :-) but did not write it down. I was preoccupied with the man on the stage. @

I realized at around 1pm that with my schedule, if I didn't go see him THAT night, I wasn't going to see him at all. I live in SC, about 20 minutes or less from the NC border and I had to drive 5 hours to get there. When I got there Liam Finn had one more song. I hate I missed him but glad I got there before Eddie started. My ticket was center-orchestra row N and when they said center, they meant center. I was right beside the sound dude, which fascinated me! All the buttons and the blue "sound graph" on the computer. It was like a freakin beacon and I'm sure I had a blue head the whole time. But, I was the happiest, blue headed, mid-forties young lady in the whole room. Eddie was fantastic doing what he was born to do and I'm glad he shares his stories and talents with us.
