What a great Tribute to the Steve Perry era Journey Band. Excellent musicianship and vocal. Keyboards were a little loud and the guitar was too low, but this band rocks it! Obviously knew their stuff. The intermission was a little weird, but I asked the venue and they said that they make the band take a break so that they can sell alcohol and make more money for the venue. Pretty sure that this was not the bands fault. All in all we had the best time at this concert than we have had in a very long time. Go see this band. They are GREAT! Don't know how anyone could have not enjoyed themselves at this concert. Absolutely phenominal!

Absolute superb performance by these guys. We danced our tails off to these oldies. The opportunity to jump on stage and join the group in singing and dance was awesome. My girlfriend had a remarkable time on the stage.

The band played very good. But it just is a cover band. At times you could tell the harmony wasn't there,sometimes it seemed the lead singer tried to hard. The lead singer did great job of getting the crowd into the show. The only thing that bothered me was the advertisement on the radio that made it sound like Steve Perry was going to sing so I bought the tickets unfortunatley I only heard the commercial twice. to me that was dirty.

We really enjoyed this show. The band was awesome, and the seats were great with plenty of room to move around and dance.

Beginning of the show was slow moving. Songs didn't seem on key vocally or instrumentally. Then the band took a break. Not once did I ever see a band, professional or cover, ever take an intermission break during a concert. That to me was tacky. This wasn't a local pub they were playing. The 2nd half of the show was more lively. Songs sounded better and had more energy. I wish the whole concert was like the 2nd half. Don't think I would make a point to see them anytime soon.

I have to say... not being a big Jouney fan, I purchased the ticket's last year for my husband as an anniversary gift, having no idea that it was not the real Journey or that the tickets were for 2012, not 2011. Who sells tickets that far in advance???? But we still wanted to come because we had heard good reviews of Journey Unauthorized. Once we got past the "wigs" we really had a great time. I think the show would be better without the wigs, it takes away from the guys true talents a little. They sounded great and it was really a fun show!

We left this show after 4 songs. It was the worst show I have ever seen. Got tired of them adjusting the wigs they were wearing. They were so off key when they sang. Venues should refund the money people paid for this show! When we left we told an usher it was terrible and he said several people had left because it was so bad. I attend 50 - 60 concerts a year so I know a good concert and this wasn't one of them. The original Journey should request these guys end this show!

Purchased tickets Aug. 2011 thinking it was Oct. 2011 & they were to the "real" Journey Concert. Found out we had to wait over a year to go. Then the day before found out it was NOT the "real" Journey. All our own goof up! Went anyway and had an amazing time!!! They were fantastic and sounded just like them and were so much fun! I am so glad we went. It took me right back to late 70's and early 80's for me, as they were always my favorite band of all time!! I would highly recommend seeing them! You will NOT be disappointed!

The lead singer was even better than the original Perry! Fun to sing along with all of the old songs. The stage however looked like a middle school musical. They could havd had more of a stage presence. They did a great job singing though. It was a fun night.

The way it was presented I actually thought I was purchasing Journey tickets, not a cover band. I was in shock the first half of the show expecting so much more. At intermission I found out it was a cover band. While it was more enjoyable after knowing it was only a cover band and NOT the real Journey I felt cheated and misled, along with a whole bunch of people.

The Journey renditions were very good, with one small suggestion. The background music tended to overpower the vocals. If the amps were turned down just a LITTLE during the sound checks and performance, the songs would have been appreciated even more. We were reminded of the movie SPINAL TAP where the bands amps weren't like other bands amps that only went to 10 'cuz their volume controls went to 11. Well, maybe Journey Unauthorized's amps should be turned down to 10----or the vocalist's amp turned to 11.

I thought the band played some great songs. I was surprised to see that the first set was only 45 minutes long and then they took at least a 20 minute break. Wish the concert would have been a little longer.

Since I will never get my wish and have Steve Perry reunited with the Journey band, this was as close as I was going to get. For the money, it was incredible. I was kind of excited to see a tribute band. They were fantastic. All the band members played great and the lead singer looked like Steve Perry from a distance. I would just close my eyes and sing along.
It was a little scary how his voice was just like Perry's. The Hangar at the OC Fairgrounds is very cozy, not too small but not too big either. If you don't want to buy tickets and sit, you can just stand outside behind a barricade to watch and listen. It was a very nice night.

I enjoyed the Journey Tribute at the Hanger. I could have done without the camera focusing on the singer's crotch. I also didn't appreciate the band having everyone come up front, this was not festival seating and I bought my second row tickets months in advance. Having drunk middle aged women falling all over my twelve and fourteen year old boys wasn't enjoyable for them, please keep them in their seats!

This was the first time that I've gone to see a cover band, so I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! They were all in full 80's attire, wigs and all, cheesy but fun- I especially got a kick out of the lead singers inspired Steve Perry outfit, coat tails and all. But what really impressed me was the overall sound and musicianship of this cover band. The lead singer was more than adequate and I'd say above average for singing very difficult Steve Perry songs, who we all know is not an easy feat. As impressive as the singer was, the guitar player really blew me away. He played so perfectly, I actually thought he was faking it for a while. But sure enough it was him and he was great! He plays the way Neil Schon played 25 years ago. Just immaculate. I really enjoyed him doing his thing. Highlights were when they played Oh Sherry, which was totally awesome because you all know we'll never hear that played again unless S. Perry comes out of retirement. They also played some songs sung originally by Greg Rollie(Feeling that way&Anytime) which was also cool as well. Overall, a great show at a great little venue @ oc fair(the Hanger). I will definitley go back to see them next year!

This is the 4th time we have seen this wonderful act and they did not disappoint! My fiance and I had a great time, we also brought along a couple of friends and they loved it.I have seen the original Journey with Steve Perry at the Long beach arena about 25 years ago and these guys come really close. Will see them again whenever I can!

They were amazing! All the musicians were top notch. The lead singer had Steve Perry's moves, looks and voice down! They had the crowd really excited and the female fans for sure.
Great show, highly recommend seeing them !
