The advertised acts were great, but this was apparently a charity show, which wasn't advertised. I'm fine with the charity part, but there were some odd opening acts put on by some company who apparently held a contest to pick them. One of them was a Orchestral violinist, said violinist accompanying his girlfriend as she sang opera, and said violinist accompanying and rapper. While none of there were terrible, it was not at all what I went there to watch.

That being said, I was surprised how how much I enjoyed HelloGoodbye's set, and We The Kings was awesome. They were amazingly high intensity, and both band sounded great.

Great entertainers and great live performance. Hellogoodbye were amazing performers and were fun to listen to and watch. We the Kings put on one of the best shows I've been to and Travis Clark just had this energy and was very entertaining and friendly. Overall amazing show, great performances.

Hm both bands performed well but they did not have a big entrance onto the stage. They basically "entered" the stage just by setting up their instruments. I wish Hellogoodbye started with an exciting familiar song, because they started off with 3 of their new songs, which no one really knew and was just standing there, but the lead singer for Hellogoodbye has such good humor! And of course they played older songs later and "Here in your Arms" last. ;) for We the Kings, they were alot more pumped up because they are more rock versus electric like Hellogoodbye. But We the Kings but on a pretty good show, playing all of the songs I wanted to hear: "We'll be a Dream", "Say You Like Me", "Heaven Can Wait", and lastly, "Check Yes Juliet." They also played "Secret Valentine." I like how We the Kings considered which city they were performing in and related to us. Because it was in Ann Arbor, MI, and he said "GO BLUE" because he knows the audience mainly consists of Umich students. I wish this show was just a little more "WOW" though. I didn't really feel that. Btw lead singer of We the Kings can be quite perverted in the words he uses when he is talking to the audience...which made the atmosphere feel really weird. But in all I guess this was an okay concert.

The concert was amazing! This is kind of a late review... but no big deal. So basically, Action Item was pretty good and Hot Chelle Rae got everyone excited and the Summer Set was great! To top it all, We The Kings sounded better live then they did in video. They sang songs like "Friday is Forever', "Check Yes Juliet", and "Skyway Avenue". The Regency Ballroom (where it was at) was a great venue! The merch room was pretty simple but had good items. On top of that, they had a balcony with seats above the stage, and a lounge room downstairs with a bar and food!

The concert overall was a fantastic show. Though I wasn't all that familiar with a few of the bands that opened for We The Kings, I still had a great time listening to the music that was performed. Every time another band would come out the energy in the room just kept building up as we all waited for the part we had been looking to the most. By the time that W.T.K.'s came out everyone in the crowd went wild. Myself included. Everything about that night was breathtaking. From listening to awesome music, to being in one of my favorite cities on earth, to spending that night with my friends, it's something we'll always have in common and its one of my favorite memories I have with them. I loved that night, and August 12, 2011 is a night I'll never forget for a myriad of reasons.

I mostly went for Action Item and The Summer Set, but all the acts were AMAZING. I loved when Hot Chelle Rae did a cover of Teenage Dream. I was dancing and singing and jumping around the entire time! Definitely the BEST AND GREATEST night of my life <3

This was my favorite concert I have ever been to! I was literally in the back and somehow i got up so close to the stage! 3 ROWS AWAY FROM THEM! it was amazing! Every song they sang sounded better in concert than it did in the studio version!! It wouldve been cooler had I actually caught the guitar pick that hit me in the face, but it was stil worth it! and it was an inexpensive concert! The opening acts were great, but We the Kings obviously stole the show. If they tour here again, I will definetely go.

I really went for the opening band, Action Item, but sadly, I missed them perform! But aside from that, the music was amazing. Hot Chelle Rae and The Summer Set were great and I fell in love with them from the moment. I'm not a HUUUUGE fan of We the Kings (But I'm still a fan! Don't get me wrong! I loooove them.) and after this concert, it has made me addicted to their music ever since. It was a nice concert where you can just sit on the balcony and listen. The crowd and fans were amazing singing a long and the band has great stage presence. They were nice enough to greet all the fans at the end so it made me super happy just to know how appreciative they were. They kept repeating "Thank you." to everyone. It was an unforgettable night!

Action Item, Hot Chelle Rae & We The Kings were all fantastic performers, but The Summer Set left a lot to be desired, including one of their members, the drummer. Pretty significant! A fun concert all around and We The Kings really knows how to get a crowd going. I'd see them all again -- together or otherwise!

It was an amazing concert. The people in the pit were pushing a lot so we went up to the balcony for the rest of the night but it was still a good view. The downtown fiction wasn't there though which was the whole reason I went and I found out about it when I was waiting in line to get in. That kind of bummed me out.

First up was ACTION ITEM. I'm a fan and they were kind enough to meet fans after their set, and imbetween the other sets. Action Item was amazing! Next HOT CHELLE RAE took the stage and gave an amazing performances, being in the crowd though wasn't fun because people started to push and shove. When THE SUMMER SET took the stage the crowd went wild! They had some potty mouths, but they did great! Finally, WE THE KINGS performed and definately rapped up the entire show in such an awesome way! All these bands were great performers and the night was overall very fun!

What a first concert to attend!!!!!! The opening band, Action Item, set off this show, and it only got better from there! It was so much high energy the place was almost on fire!!!

Hot Chelle Rae won everyone's hearts with "Lovesick Electric" and though I had never heard of The Summer Set, I absolutely loved them.

Not to mention Travis and his wildly inappropriate but endearing talks with his fans. We the Kings was incredible, of course. I loved this concert. It will be a hard one to beat!!!!

I mainly went to see We the Kings & The Summer Set. The two opening bands, Action Item & Hot Chelle Rae had great energy and command of the crowd. The Summer Set played a mix of new and old songs and got the crowd groovin'. They played an unexpected cover of Ryan Adams' "Desire", which was great. We the Kings was phenomenal and enjoyable as always. I just wish they played more songs off their new album. There was a lot of crowdsurfing and pushing, but the bands were worth it.
