Hands down, best concert ever. Most likely if you're attending the concert, you'll know their songs, but if you don't, there's no way you can't enjoy this concert. They're so performative (and all very adorable) so you're constantly moving your attention from one to the other. It's a great mix of songs to dance to; the floor was literally moving with everyone's movement. It can't be described, it's such an experience. Go to this concert!

THey were abolsutely SHARP AS NAILS on Monday night in Webster Hall. THey had amazing energy and had the crowd rocking the entire time. Their sound was tight and well rehearsed. Fantastic show.

I'm not much of a reviewer, but that show was just amazing. Bowery Ballroom is a super intimate venue, and the sound is great. Vampire Weekend blew me away with how great they sounded, and listening to them live was better than listening to the album. The drummer and keyboardist are top notch. The vocals were all spot on, and they keep the crowd involved. The lowpoint of the show for me had nothing to do with the performance, and everything to do with the fact that they dont do concert posters. Still, amazing night, great set list, and overall one of the finest shows I have ever seen.

i was so surprised to find their opening act, holly miranda, to be just my taste. vampire weekend rocked it, playing almost all of their latest album, contra, as well as their first self-titled one. the string players they brought out for some of the songs were incredible. all over, wowowowow.

They are so talented, it was obvious, and the concert sounded just like the album. So you could tell it wasn't music produced in a back room with lots of machines and voice changers. However, it sounded just like the album. I wished they would've spiced the songs up a bit. Perhaps do one acoustic that they hadn't done before. Or change the tempo of another. But I absolutely love their music! They are very creative, and more than anything...fun.

Great concert at Webster Hall. Vampire Weekend sounds even better live than they do on their studio albums. The drummer is phenomenal as with the rest of the band. I would go to the same show the following day if tickets didn't sell out.

I love Vampire Weekend, they are a fantastic band! This was my second time seeing them and while the music was great, the night didn't turn out as we had hoped thanks to the venue. How do you make the crowd wait an hour for each band to come on stage?! Ridiculous!! I can't blame the fact that our night was also ruined due to people who can't hold their liquor on this venue, but it just would not be my choice for another concert. NEVER AGAIN.
Vampire Weekend rocks!!! :D

I Love this band and they sound more amazing live! so if you get a chance to see them Go!
Really nice venue (United Palace Theatre). They played their longest show yet and the crowd was really good and there to have a good time. They played a mix of their older stuff and new musin off their album Contra. The performance of Cape cod Kwassa Kwassa was really fun! and my current Fave song Run was really good. My Friend and I got to go to the After party too and that was one of the coolest night ever! They are so nice !!

The band was in top form, playing nearly everything from their debut album and their just released sophomore effort; brought my 15-year old son and one of his friends, as my wife was sick. Saw them this summer in the pouring rain at the All Points West festival in Jersey City and they were my favorite band of the festival - and the favorite of my son and his friend (they're both musicians). I've probably averaged seeing 25-35 bands a year for over 3 decades and these guys are probably in my top ~20 live bands ever. Musically, they were very tight and Ezra;s vocals were spot on the whole evening. The sound mix was great, too, as opposed to the muddy sound that Titus Andronicus suffered from, unfortunately - saw TA a year ago opening for Los Campesinos at the Bowery Ballroom and they were much better - too bad on the poor mix. Anyway, there was nary a weak song in the set and they added a string quartet for 3-4 songs, which was a nice touch, rounding out the sound. Personal song highlights were Oxford Comma, A Punk and One, from the first album and White Sky, Diplomat's Son and Cousins from the new album - and, of course, my favorite Vampire Weekend song (and one of my all-time favorite songs ever), Walcott, as the encore closer. Great show - these guys are simply much better live than on recordings - and they're not bad on recordings, either.

United Palace Theatre is a classic venue worthy of only excellent composition and theatrical arts. That said, although, not the most optimal for Vampire Weekend's ska-rock rythmic ballads and dance-inciting music, the venue provided outstanding acoustics that allowed the band to sounds much like their record. Vampire Weekend mixed in songs from their album with notable hits from the first album. As expected, they got everyone going in the tight spaces of their seats. The show ended on their newest hits, a prelude to hopefully more great music to come from this talented quartet.
