That's what the show felt like. Right before her voice went out, we were privileged enough to have her sing to us.

She's funny, sincere, open, and raw live. I loved every minute she was on that stage.

The venue, however, left much to be desired. We could only take pictures and if you so much as had your camera on a video setting let alone actually recording, security would decend upon you like something out of Lord of The Rings,

Hated the venue but she was worth the sacrifice.

The Civil Wars opened and they were phenomenal. I bought their album the next day.

DC tickets sold out before i could buy them so i bought Philly tickets. Friday the 13th, i leave for the 2 hour drive and a truck hits me on I-95, totaling my car. With an injured shoulder and foot, i made it to the venue 5 minutes before she went on. SO WORTH IT!!!
She was everything i hoped for and more!
I'm all healed up and insurance took care of the car.... Seeing your favorite artist perform better than your high expectations....PRICELESS!

As much as I love Adele, I have to say that she seemed almost invisible Saturday night. Her voice, too, was so much less powerful than what I'm used to hearing. This was disappointing, given the great expectations we had for the show. I hate to say this, but strangely, it was like she was almost not there...

This show had a big "wow" factor for me. She was so personable and humorous on stage, yet demonstrated amazing talent. She didn't need any special effects or fancy stage set up. She sings with such feeling it brought tears to my eyes. I've seen several concerts this year and she was the best by far! I would see her again in a heartbeat.

This was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. Adele was simply enchanting. This show was rescheduled from her original June date in Minneapolis at the 1st Avenue venue. She told us playing large arenas make her nervous - but her nerves quickly melted away as she charmed the crowd from the minute she arrived on stage with a personalized Minnesota Hockey Jersey printed proudly with "Adele 21". This was her last show before heading to the VMA awards and then back to the UK. Her voice was superb - she totally engaged the crowd throughout the entire show. Even involved us in a birthday wish to her best friend and allowed a fan to join her on stage for a hug! Do not hesitate to see Adele live. She is the real deal!

I was in awe when I attended her concert! She sounds even better live! Her recorded material already tugs on my heartstrings and imagine how I felt when I heard her sing live! She sang so beautifully and powerfully. I have no words. If you ever get the chance to see her in concert, do everything that you can to see her: don't eat for a week, ride your bike instead of using up money for gas, sell your car, I don't know! Just get those tickets! Adele is worth it!

This was such an awesome concert. Her lyrics are without a doubt touching and listening to her voice, the music and feeling the energy simply gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes.

She is probably the best female singer alive, especially when you consider her age! What a great concert!! It was interesting to see the audience, a lot of Adele wannabes (20-something women wearing Adele-style dresses); a stark contrast from the aging hippies that attended the recent Jethro Tull concert!!! Adele has a great voice and it carried very well in the arena. The band was pure back up meaning no guitar solos - the concert was pure Adele. I sat next to a lady who travelled from Texas just to attend the concert - what a fan. If you can ever get tickets to Adele, grab them as they go fast!!

Wanda Jackson, the opening act, with the local Hillbilly Voodoo Band was a great warm-up, although Wanda (who said she graduated from high school in 1955) is getting a bit long in the tooth!

Adele was more amazing in person than even her records. Not only was she able to personalize a large stadium, she made me feel a part of the music. That was a great feet because I was at the top of the stadium look at a tiny dot.
