I Have seen Shorty many times and he only gets better with age. I wish the show started earlier but it was worth the wait. GREAT SHOW TO SEE...will see him next week also. Love me some shorty!!

Mr. Shorty was awesome as always. Second time seeing him live. And it's nothing compare to his albums. He makes the trombone sound like something I just can't describe.

Trombone Shorty is a dynamic and exciting performer in concert. He gets the crowd going from the moment he walks on stage holding his two horns in the air and doesn't let up until it's time to go home. The show gets four stars instead of five for two reasons. First, his band isn't that great. Their solos were uniformly unexciting. Second, he doesn't have a deep body of work of his own music to draw from. His set list was very similar to last year's shows. At least for now, he should mix in a few covers in each show to make things more interesting.

Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue put on an epic show at the House of Blues. Troy and his drummer had an awesome moment when they both played the drums. It was great. I would have gone back to watch the show again the next night if that were possible.
The opening band was also great.

Lot's of energy and fun. Lots of covers so even a new fan can enjoy. Not sure if the performer or venue set the timing on the ticket but show times and ends were off so be sure to double check.

There are no words to describe the talent that Trombone Shorty has.

Black Joe got short shrift as the opener, and he needs to bring back his old guitar player or find someone else to take his place. Trombone Shorty was great. I was a little surprised by how short the show was and how early it ended. Very hard to get a drink when Terminal 5 is crowded.

Hands down, the best concert I have been to in recent memory.
