Anjelah, she's a funny gal. I sort of felt her new material was lacking in the hysterical laughs. Don't get me wrong she's funny but I was expecting more of uncontrollable non-stop laughs. Instead it was an hour of a lot of "ha-has" . My boyfriend, a "Dod" of the audience and not local to the Bay Area, couldn't relate to much of her material. So he didn't find her quite as funny as I did.
She's got a lot going on with her fundraising for City Team, her CD's and the sales of her promotional products. I wish that part would have been left out of the comedy portion show entirely.
The warm up comedian from TN was funny I missed the first few min of the show and missed catching his introduction. The Lil DJ guy was entertaining and quite talented. It turns out it was Anjelah's birthday and her family brought a cake out and had the audience sing Happy Birthday to her. That was sort of cool.
