We drove in from Austin Saturday morning and had breakfast at Piedras Negras Cafe, which was recommended by a friend. The food was awesome and at such an affordable price, it couldn't be beat. We headed to the stadium and found a parking lot for $20 as the stadium parking was already sold out. We only had to walk 2 blocks so no complaints there. The Fan Zone offered a lot of fun and entertainment while waiting for the stadium to open up. Lots of beer, food and friendly rivalry! It was awesome when the school bands made a brief appearance. It really pumped up the crowd. And the game....absolutely incredible! The stadium staff was very helpful directing us to what we needed. No complaints there! Overall we had a very positive bowl experience. The only suggestion is to recycle, recycle, recycle!! I couldn't believe how much trash was bundled up in bags with things clearly visible that could be recycled such as cans. What an opportunity for a local non-profit to earn some cash by selling all those cans.
