I went enjoy the famous music of Mario Bauza and was totally disappointed. Bobby Sanabria overshadowed the whole show with his drumming and poor vocal interjection.
La Bruja was a total embarrasment to the Hispanic Community. I will never go see anything that includes Bobby Sanabria. How do you build an orchestra around a drummer. Even the great Gene Krupa knew when to allow his orchestra to perform and remain in the background.

Not only was the music excellent but the showmanship was exactly right. All the performers were truly engaging and brought enthusiasm and brilliance to their performances under the irrepressible and talented maestro. We enjoyed the whole package!

I attend many latin music concerts around town.
I would classified this as the event of the year even though the year is only half over.
It's going to be a long time before anyone can top the performance of Bobby Sanabria's
orchestra as well as the guests he presented.
If possible please announce when a video of this concert can be purchased.
This is a collectors item.
Thank you Apollo Theatre , thank you sponsers for sponsering this fantastic event.
On the way out of the theatre I heard nothing but great comments from the audience.
I would classified this as the event of the year even though the year is only half over.

Bobby Sanabria is an educator. La Bruja is powerful. Together they are incomparable.
Charenne Wade's voice is as gorgeous as she is. Jon Faddis is a legend. The earth will never have someone close to a man like Candido. The orchestra was excellent. The Apollo gives you that feeling of history. The night was wonderful. Que viva la musica! Ache!
