Ok....so I'm a pretty big Queen fan and my opinion is that Freddie Mercury is one of the top Rock-N-Roll vocalists of all time. I'm also a singer and musician, so I tend to be pretty picky about everything. With that said.....all I can say is "WOW"....Outstanding! I'd never heard of Gary before.....and I was blown away by his vocals and overall imitation of Mercury. I've seen enough video of Mercury in my lifetime to know that he captured every nuance of a Mercury performance. The moves were right on. The vocal style was right on. He even sang some of the low octave notes just like Mercury did in concert....unlike the radio cuts. The band played the songs note for note. There was never a missed note or something improvised that shouldn't have been. Gary also had the crowd standing and in the palm of his hand from the first song.....impressive. Of course, Gary is lucky to have the same physical body shape as Mercury and the actual vocal chops to pull off the entire package.....but that is taking nothing away from his hard work, and what is undoubtedly, years of practice at his craft. I would go see him again without a second thought.....and I wouldn't say that about many original artists and groups. Bravo!

Solid show ... probably the closest you'll get to Queen. Gary can't quite hit many of the notes that Freddie used to hit, but he does an admirable job. And after all, who really can?! Makes you appreciate the genius of Freddie! If you LOVE Queen, then close your eyes and enjoy all of those timeless songs.

Top notch, best time we have had in quite a while! Gary Mullen and the Works were very aware of the tough times we were having in Boston and payed tribute with a moment of silence! You guys are the BEST! I will see One Night of Queen EVERY time they come even "close" to us!

We went with friends to this concert. They left at intermission, we left shortly thereafter. While they certainly tried, and were talented musically, the volume was so loud and distorted that you couldn't hear the vocals and it just didn't sound like Queen. We were very disappointed.

The band was great, lots of energy and the lead singer lived up to the Freddy Mercury persona. This was one of the best tribute bands that I have seen and would recommend watching the show to anyone who wants to be entertained!

One Night of Queen was truly amazing. Having seen actual Queen at the old Boston Garden a couple of times, I can tell you that I felt I was watching Freddy Mercury reincarnated. Granted, he didn't have his pipes, but certainly his mannerisms. Also, the band was pretty authentic, especially the lead guitarist. A really fun night, even my 14 year old daughter enjoyed the show tremendously and she does not know who Mercury was. Well worth the price of admission, I highly recommend making an effort to catch their act. It's now 2 days later and my ears are still ringing (we were in the front row)!

I find it difficult to understand all the positive reviews regarding this band.
In my opinion, Gary Mullen sounded very little like Freddie Mercury, and the band was lethargic and off rythem to the original. The sound mixing was horrible.
When I get into a concert, I stand and cheer and enjoy. The fact that Gary Mullen kept telling (threatening) the audience to stand and dance, should tell him the audience is just not that into them.
If we were not with another couple, we would have left at intermission.
Don't waste your time or your money. Hopefully this review gets read before tickets are purchased.

The lights, the sound, the band, the songs!! All were a fantastic tribute to THE GREATEST band ever--Queen of course!! Very high energy and entertaining. We drove almost 100 miles to see this show and were not disappointed. Even my hubby, who's not really a Queen fan, had a great time. Would definitely recommend this event and will definitely go see them if ever they come 'round again. Gary Mullen and The Works gave a fantastic rendition of Queen and Freddie Mercury. Gary has Freddie's stage mannerisms and style down to a T and the other band members gave excellent performances as well. They played a great selection of classic Queen hits and stayed true to the music.

It was great to hear the music of Queen live. Gary works hard at his craft. A bit short on the show and keeping the audience. It was a decent show to watch, not memorable. But it was a Queen show so it was at least awesome for that. Needs to consider the set list to keep the audience throughtout the show.

My wife and I took our 11 year old granddaughter to the great Akron Civic Theatre and really enjoyed a wonderful show! On our way home my granddaughter said her throat was sore from cheering so much!

I admit I went to this show with much skepticism, which was quickly erased. It was a truly authentic Queen experience. From the vocals, to the music, to the very awesome stage presence. I recommend this show very highly, and can't wait for another "One Night of Queen"!!! the vocalist,Gary Mullen, not only had an amazing voice, but was also in very good shape, so the moves he performed onstage were truly gifted.

If you are a Queen fan you will love this band. They are so good at portraying Queen. The lead singer looks and acts just like Freddie Mercury did on stage, the lead guitar did a solo that was amazing, the bass guitarist was great, keyboard - great, drums - amazing! This is the second time I have seen them and they did not disappoint. I like how they did a rendition of a few songs from A Night At The Opera CD that were not so well known - the true Queen fans will know them.
I took my Dad to this concert for his Birthday present, he had a great time as well!

Excellent, high-energy Queen cover band. This was a 2-for-1 with a true, throwback rock concert plus the enthralling theatrical performance of the diva frontman.

Because the audience was called out early to stand up, wake up and show some life, I think this event would have been better received by a Saturday night or Friday night audience. It was mentally challenging for some of us to switch instantly from comfortably seated Sunday-night spectators into raving, screaming, butt shakers with the prospect of having to get up for work Monday morning. But, hey, that's just my sober old age talking.

The musicians all had impressive skillz, and the singer poured his svelte body and soul into the dynamic prancing and voguing of the real Freddie at his most irreverent and frenetic. I think the sound engineers should have given the singer's mic more boost though, because there were times when the singer's voice was drowned out by the wall of sound from the rest of the band, and he does have a good voice.
