The show itself was great. She did an amazing performance, and I really enjoyed the music. However, I was extremely disappointed when I showed up and realized it was a standing event. I worked all day and had to get up at 5:00 AM the next day, so the last thing I wanted to do was stand all night. Besides that, I'm short, so I had a very hard time seeing. I had to squish in between sweaty strangers, and crane my neck in an awkward position just to see the stage in a small sliver between two tall men's heads. And any time one of them moved, my field of vision was obstructed. St. Vincent is the type of music I would have liked to sat to watch. She is so interesting on stage; I would have enjoyed the show much more if there were assigned seats so I could relax, enjoy the show, and not worry about seeing or getting stepped on. My last complaint is that one of the patrons close behind me was drunkenly carrying on a loud conversation during songs, and heckling Annie when she spoke to the crowd between songs. Even after being spoken to several times, this patron did not quiet down. I think seating would have also solved this problem.
