I am still reeling from the wonderful experience. Everything from the hotel to the handicapped parking, to the people, to the traffic, to the track, to the race itself, couldn't have been better.
My seats in the low grandstand on the back track were perfect. If I ever have the money and opportunity to come again, I will try to get exact same seat. Short track racing is the best. The driver has to really drive. It is not an endurance race, like the longer tracks.
This is the fourth track at which I have been lucky enough to attend a race and it was by far the best. The people were welcoming and friendly and made one feel welcome and important.
The only downside are the fake caution that Nascar uses to change the outcomes of the race.
I am an old less than mobile lady and was somewhat worried about coming by myself, but my worries evaporated and it was "the most fun thing" I have done in several years.
