I watch Joel McHale every week on the Soup and enjoy him immensely. I was excited about his show to see if he could move beyond the gossip and insanity of TV. He totally delivered. He did enough stuff that was Soup-like to keep us happy but also showed that he is smart, clever, insightful and absolutely adorable.
Can't wait to see him again.

We really enjoy Joel McHale from The Soup, so we were thrilled he came to Peoria. He started out with material mostly from his show and we were a little annoyed. We didn't want to purchase tickets to watch The Soup live. But fairly quickly he moved into more original material but very true to the Joel we love from tv. We highly recommend you going to the show, especially if you are a fan, but I think anyone could enjoy his comedy

I thought that the introductory act and Joel McHale were both above satisfactory. They were both very entertaining with plenty of energy to get the crowd riled up. I would go and see them again.

From start to finish, Joel was hilarious. He went from the requisite E! Soup celebrity jokes into heartfelt comedy about his children and every minute of it was fantastic. Only wish the set was longer!

Joel McHale was hilarious! I am a big fan of his television shows, so was excited to see him perform his stand-up. He did not disappoint. He was very entertaining and my husband and I had a blast. I would definitely go see him again!

Great show very funny. Starts out with his soup gig, trashing all the crap tv "stars", which I love!! But also does some great stand up. My husband had a great time!!! Only problem, civic center didn't serve alcohol. Uhg!

Was a little disappointed that the event started 15 minutes late. The opening act was pretty funny-definitely got the crowd going for McHale.
Initially thought McHale was just going to rehash his "The Soup" bits, and was again disappointed, but when he moved into different material, he was hilarious!!! Would totally recommend others go to see this show!

Joel McHale was so funny. My boyfriend and I watch both of his shows, The Soup and Community. We actually didn't know he did stand up but were excited when we found out he did! We were surprised to hear he was coming to Peoria, IL but again, we were very excited to go see him. He was very entertaining and kept us laughing the whole time! If given the opportunity, I would definitely go see him again!

It was almost 2 hours of outburst laughing--a lot of talk about the Soup show that I was familiar with and a lot of talk about the town-Reno, which I liked. Although I came from Seattle.

You have to go see Joel! If you love The Soup then you'll love his stand up and if you haven't seen The Soup, you need to! I'm so glad that I went to see him because Joel McHale is going to be big! He is one of the funniest and most talented comedians around today. The show was GREAT and hugely entertaining!

What a great show! The venue is a little weird, with banquet room chairs placed in rows on the floor so all is flat (risers would be nice), but this is only a side note. The reason for attending did not disappoint--Joel McHale was incredibly entertaining, energetic, and made us weep with laughter. His wit and humor are even better live than on "The Soup", if that is possible. An excellent night of diverse humor from Bruce Jenner to Eddie! Thanks Joel.

His comic performance was funny, but the seats were very uncomfortable. Also, I thought it was pretty crappy that you had to buy something to get an autograph. We already paid enough for the tickets and the room. Overall, I would recommend this show to a friend.

Enjoyed Joel McHale in Reno last night. He brought some of his humor from "The Soup". However, I would have liked to see him touch on a few more celebrities. I enjoyed him talking about his son and his family. Didn't like him constantly referring to the older crowd in front. I'm 51, watch his show (even though I don't watch the reality shows) and because of "The Soup" and all the stories on the internet, knew who he was talking about in his skit.

Whether you enjoy "The Soup" or not, Joel will keep you laughing from the start to finish of the show. His on stage antics are comical by themselves but partnered with his sporatic jests at the crowd and ADD symptoms, you will not regret your tickets.
