Favorite moment: The cute idea of hiding on the stage rather than leaving and returning for an encore was very fun. @
Setlist: Not complete or in order: Breakable, The Hat, The Way I Am, Everybody, Die Alone, Far Away @
Opening act(s): I can't recall his name. He was good, but I was looking forward to Ingrid. Sorry, but I must be honest. @

Not only is Ingrid Michaelson incredibly talented musically, she has a wonderful sense of humor. All in the band our very talented as well. They seem to get along well and are very entertaining. It was a wonderfully fun evening for myself and my two daughters-in-law!

Greg Holden--awesome voice, great songs. The audience wasn't being incredibly supportive to this supporting act, but he was great. Cute little cover of "Walkin on Sunshine" brought the "aw" factor and gave us something to sing along to, for those who need that sort of thing.
Greg Laswell--amazing. Just stunning. You can't help but be silent and listen when this man sings. Great songs, awesome musicianship, cool vibe and cool guy. And I think he's married to Ingrid. If they're not married, I'd be surprised.
Ingrid Michaelson--love her. Just love the songs, the writing, the arrangements, and she is one of the funniest performers I've ever seen. She's witty and hysterical, calm and cool and completely comfortable on stage. She commands the audience. The new album is fantastic and I was really stoked to see her. Having said that, the band's energy was a bit off because Ally Moss lost her voice and couldn't sing, cutting out half of the harmonies that we've all come to love and rely on in Ingrid's arrangements. The Recher is a bit ghetto, pealing paint, tacky decor, and tiny set up--the monitors were feeding back, ear monitors weren't doing their job, and the lighting was completely distracting. These are things the artists played through seamlessly, but didn't reflect well on the venue. The the place is really small, so that's awesome.
What is the deal with people going to concerts and singing at the top of their lungs to every word of every song the entire time? I couldn't believe it. I couldn't tell if it was a teeny-bopper thing, or an Ingrid-fan thing or what. Seems like younger kids sing at concerts more than they used to, and it bugs the crap out of everyone I've talked to. There were so many times when I couldn't hear the lead vocals because the audience was singing. I know every word too, but I don't come to a concert to hear myself and people I don't know sing (or whatever you call that), that's what my car is for. I paid to hear the performer sing her songs the way she wants to sing them, not hear other people sing over her and lock her into singing the songs exactly like the record, making it nearly impossible for her to express her self in the moment. Which is the reason I go to live shows, for the LIVE experience and to receive the expression of the artist. People, please, for the love, don't sing at concerts unless the artist invites you too. Ingrid gives plenty of opportunity for sing alongs, shout backs, and audience participation. Why would you pay to drown her out?

She took forever to come out. Doors opened @ 7 and she didn't come out till 9:30. Very disappointing to me since I went to see her and had to leave @ 10. Guess I know for next time that I need to allot more time for me to see the whole show. Only heard 4 songs before I left. (Some peple have school/work the next day.) All in all, I would definitely go see her again, just maybe in a different venue. The Recher theater is a Standing Only theater and I would definitely need to sit down after the first hour.

I didn't know what to expect as I had never seen Ingrid in concert but I have to say that she was awesome! She was funny, she sounded great, she engaged the audience. Basically she had the best stage presence I've ever experienced at a concert. I absolutely loved her more than ever. The two opening acts were really talented as well. I thought they meshed well with Ingrid's sound

Ingrid and her band are quite good in concert. The songs are very much like their albums but not so much that it's dull. Ingrid tells cute stories and has a way of getting the crowd involved. I felt like the crowd didn't want to let her down and thus rhythmically clapped when prompted and perfomed "heart tearing into jazz hands" obediently. I felt a bit older surrounded by the vibrant college-aged surroundings but good music is good music.

oh my goodness. never have i seen such a talented group of performers who interact with each other and the audience amazingly! the show was incredible. ingrid is amazing. so are allie moss, bess rogers, dan romer, chris kuffner and elliot jacobson. and greg laswell and greg holden. just. wow. so much talent.
the most amazing thing though was after the show when the band members all came out to talk with fans, including myself. not only did they talk with me, they remembered my name, were genuinely interested in me and my interests, and even though they were almost at the end of a very, very long tour they didn't grow tired of talking to me. elliot, the drummer, even GAVE my dad a pair of special drumsticks. this was an unforgettable night of talent and genuine kind people.

Ingrid was in rare form at the Recher Wednesday. She sang a good number of songs off of her new albulm, but did not forget the past and treated everyone in attendance to their favorites Mostly teenage girls and college students in the crowd with a sprinkling of 30 somethings and up. The band was incredible with Ingrid playing drums while the drummer played keyboard and the guitarist played bass and you get the drift. Like a good old fashioned musical fire drill the band swiftly switched instruments showing off their multi instrament talents. When the show was finished the entire band came out to greet fans and sign autographs. Humble, fun and just nice people to hang out with. The only one missing from the band was Ingrid herself, who was not feeling well after a long list of visits to many cities. If she comes to your town she is well worth the ticket price and you are sure to have a good time. An all ages show with some underlying messages that "only adults would understand". Go see her she is great and you will not be dissapointed I promise.

oh my goodness, I am very critical of performances, but I was totally blown away by the pure talent of Ingrid Michaelson. This was my second time seeing Ingrid and her band, having seen them in Alexandria, Virginia in fall, 2008. She was just as quirky and witty as ever, with even more participation this time around. She's a great singer and songwriter and even better live and every member of the band has such a great personality. You can tell they are good friends off the stage. Great song line-up, a couple old, but most off the new album, Everybody. Always a fun concert!

Ingrid Michaelson is so cool and funny in person! Already loved Ingrid's music a ton, and her show was thoroughly entertaining. She is an excellent performer, and her band is talented and funny. I really liked that everyone on stage had a goofy personality that shone through. They even all swapped instruments at one point! You could tell it was their 46th out of 47 total shows of the tour, as her band didn't fully react to the performance gimmicks and stories they'd obviously heard several times already, but the audience loved them anyway. The show was real and personal, the music and singing were perfect, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit. Her openers - the two Greg's - were both great as well. I heard all of my favorite songs of hers that I was hoping to hear and some new ones!
