While I was a little disappointed that we did not actually go backstage (or even on the stage), this was a great experience and I'm glad I did it. The actors who play Boq and Chistery talked to us in the lobby of the theatre where there were some props, a couple of costumes, a diorama of the set and several masks displayed. They told us about their backgrounds and experience with the show, as well as other general info about the making of Wicked and how the production travels. We then went into the theater to talk a little more about the set and had a short question/answer session. It last one hour. The actors were great - funny and informative. I was glad that I had seen the show before - everything they talked about was more meaningful. However, I saw the show again that afternoon and that was fun too - seeing my two new "friends" perform!
