All three acts sounded like they were singing in a mud puddle!
Instrumentation plays an important part in any concert but it SHOULD NOT run all over the vocals!
The only time the music was remotely enjoyable was when Chris Daughtry was singing solo and playing the acoustic guitar.

Yesterday I went to Chris Daugtry event in Fairfax, VA.
It was nice but started way too late - my tickets had 700pm start time but he did not appear until 850pm. Two homegrown bands played before showed up - CAvo and Theory of a Dead Man. First group was nice but second one was so so.
When Chris finally showed up, he did pretty good and show ended around 1020pm - not bad.

I took my 13 year old to his first Rock concert last night to see Daughtry! It was amazing. The group is so worth seeing and really kept the crowd engaged!

Actually did the VIP before the show and it was awesome meeting the whole band. They were so great and nice. I would recommend meeting them to everyone at least once in your life. The concert was totally awesome. Daughtry always rocks the stage. The best performers around.

The music was unbelievable! The fire and fireworks were wild! Daughtry always knows how to get everyone pumped up! I loved each an every song! Had a great time!

I love Daughtry and his music! But, this is the third time I've seen him in concert and have been very disappointed each time. His band overpowers his singing. When I was able to hear him he was great, but for the most part his band was just way too overpowering. There were only a couple of songs where I actually was able to hear HIS voice. There were many people around us, young & old, who were leaving way before the concert ended. It was said to say, the concert was just "OK".

Overall I would rate Daughtry a 4. But I will tell you I was disappointed that He did not appear on stage until 9:15pm. Too late in my opinion. I understand there is always an opening grou, but 2. Not necessary. I felt I waited too long. I also was alittle disappointed because the music overpowered his voice. The arena is not that big for the music to be that loud. I came to hear Daughtry and his vocals. NOT that trembling because it was so loud. At times, I could not understand the lyrics to the songs. Don't let the music outshine, the singer. I want to hear the songs too!! A little disappointing.

I thought that Daughtry and Cavo were exceptional. I was not the biggest fan of Theory of a Dead Man. Alot of their songs sound the same, and they were on a bit too long for my taste. I think if Cavo had a longer set it would have been a better decision. But Daughtry was amazing!

Loved the concert in Bridgeport, CT. The vibe form the audience was ok. Daughtry was fantastic. One issue I have... is that I would love to see him perform in NYC at the Garden. New York is a better venue for a rock concerts. Rock on!!!!!!!

cavo started to show off ok they will get better with more songs that ppl know. then it went to theory of a deadman witch was really good but the arena didnt help them i seen them outside and u can hear the singer so much more and the base doesnt echo either but over all a good show. then daughtry hes ok but he trys to mix it hard and soft songs but i think the best songs he played werent his own. but over all ok show alot beter outdoors prob.
