The show in ATL???? AWESOME. I must admit I was skeptical. There are many artists that are much better in the studio...but does that make them a true artist?
I took friends who have never heard his music and they enjoyed every aspect...believe me they are a tough group to please.
Overall it was wonderful and I can't wait to attend his next event.
And 'The Kin'?...Way to get the night started. Definitely check them out if you can.

Go see Joshua Radin immediately. Fantastic stories to set up the old songs and he played four or five songs from his new record which are totally rocking (apparently he's recording the new album in January). Super talented guy and not bad to look at!

Joshua Radin is an awesome performer. Not only is his music great but he loves to tell you where his songs come from and what they mean to him. He's also hilarious on stage and is just a magnificent entertainer! I would definitely go see him again!

Joshua Radin is absolutely wonderful. His wit, interaction with the audience, and surprise at performing in a synagogue all added to the show's appeal.
He played some of the songs from both of his albums, but the real treat was when he previewed some songs from his next album. He is changing it up a bit to include straight up rock to his normal "whisper rock" repertoire. I must say, I was delighted and impressed. I think I even liked his rock songs even more than what he has already put out.
Joshua Radin is an extremely talented artist and I will definitely see him again next time he is in D.C. (But Joshua - I think you got the wrong impression of D.C. Had we been somewhere like the 9:30 Club rather than a synagogue, I'm sure that a good majority of the audience would have been drinking!)

Some artists play live as well as recorded, but only the best play better live. I went to this concert because I love Joshua Radin's music. What I did not expect was how this would be brought into a whole new dimension with the addition of a band, putting the "rock" in "whisper-rock." Specifically, Brand New Day and Sky were standout. I loved the recorded versions of these songs, but after hearing how amazing these sounded, I don't know how I will ever go back. The new material from his upcoming CD was also exciting, and the whole crowd got really into the songs. Overall, I loved this concert in every way, even more than I expected.

This was my 3rd (I think, maybe 4th?) time seeing Joshua Radin live, and once again he did not disappoint! He really engages the crowd and lets you know his story and personality. He's very eager, open, and fun to watch and listen to, not to mention that his music is absolutely beautiful! If you haven't gotten to see him live yet, GO SEE HIM. He's an incredible musician and I really can't wait for his next album.
My only complaint about the venue is that I was sitting up in the balcony right to the side of the stage. We could see a lot, but since we were sitting somewhat behind the microphone, sometimes we couldn't hear everything he or the other artists were saying clearly. Still a really great show!

Joshua Radin put on a great show! He rocked out some of his classics... "Brand New Day" was particularly lively. He's got a great stage personality and had the crowd laughing between songs. He played a number of songs from his upcoming CD and I already want it to be out. He was so much better live... every song -- whisper rock or regular rock -- was rich and captivating.

Joshua Radin did an amazing job and his opening acts were incredible as well. Everything happened in a timely manner and I didn't feel as if I had to wait a long time for each act. He was able to get the crowd really going and it was one of the best concerts i have been to in a long time. He also has a great sense of humor and his stories he told before each song were hilarious.

Joshua Radin was awesome! I loved the intimate setting of the show, especially the stories he told before playing each of his songs. He has a great sense of humor and is an incredible entertainer. And his voice... OMG. I loved hearing the new songs... can't wait for the new album to be released!! And Jessica Stavely-Taylor has the voice of an angel.

The Sixth and I Historic Synagogue at first seemed a bit stuffy. Also the layout left many obstructed views. But after hearing the first note sung, it became quite clear what makes this place an amazing venue. Joshua's smooth voice echoed beautifully throughout the room. Plus the intimate setting helped foster a "Storyteller's" type vibe. It is safe to say, all who attended were blown away.
