I have continued to keep up with Taylor Hicks since his first audition on AI. He seems to get better with time. He is an incredible "live" performer and so warm and friendly with his fans. I can hardly wait for him to start his own tour!!

FIRST, THE TICKETS SAID 7:00p.m. Taylor isn't scheduled to take the stage till 9:00p,m, SO, we sat from 6:00p.m. till 9:00p.m. as there was no opening act. When Taylor takes stage, he was "cold & stone-faced", didn't interact with fans. There was a fan there that shouted out for him to sing some "soul patrol", he did not even look in the direction the person was calling out to him. He didn;t even response to them and this is a extreme informal place. I felt his overtone was rude. I really thought I liked Taylor, afterall the "soul patrol" act is what made him the "AMERICAN IDOL"... I feel that he has
abondoned who and what he was all about and the fans that voted him because of that, has been left short-changed. I left after 45 minutes as I had seen and heard enough or maybe I should say after "not" seeing and hearing enough. He has lost a fan....

What a treat! The show was high quality and very energetic! Taylor is a wonderful entertainer and musician. He led the band & played some hot harmonica & guitar.

Sept. 11th, was a great night for me and my girlfirend. We traveled to Beau Rivage to see Taylor Hicks. He did not disappoint us. It was a great show and the back stage passes we happen to luck up on made the evening especially great.

As usual Taylor put on a fantastic show! He is an unbelivable performer. He gets you up on your feet dancing, singing, and clapping along with him. BUT I love it when he slows it down to perform a ballad that really shows off his voice.

Favorite moment: It was 9/11 and I appreciated him acknowledging our military and thought the song he dedicated to them was awesome. @

Setlist: Wish he would have done some of the stuff he used to do at the Flora Bama. I know he's trying to come into his own with the songwriting which is great and improves all along but I still like to hear him sing Van Morrison, Almond Bros, Otis, etc., I know it's somebody elses sound but people love to hear him do them. @

Taylor & the band put on a really good show Friday night. I've seen him several times and his confidence on the stage has really grown. He has finally gotten wise and incorporated his old band members including Brian, Sam and Mitch? (sax player) who are all amazing musicians and deserve kudos for their role in his success. They have a groove together that comes from knowing one another so well. Taylor grew up not far from Pensacola so I think of him as home grown and we locals like to support him. The venue at the Beau was pretty good except the seats which were not very comfortable. Other than that - had a great experience overall at the Beau as always and would like to do it again!

No one puts on a show like Taylor does when he's on his home turf!!
And he was thrilled to be at the Beau Rivage, back on a big stage with a
full band doing what he loves in front of a sold-out crowd!!

The crowd could feel his excitement and their response to him was tremendous.
He gave us all he had and more.
His voice was in great form and the music was superb. He danced, he
chatted, he sang, and he gave each member of the band their due !!
It was great fun and I can't wait to see Taylor in concert again !!

The show was really great! Taylor Hicks came back out at the end and played one more song...which was very good and rocking! He is a young star rising quickly.
See him now...before his tickets get really expensive.
The only downfall was at the end of the show, while exiting the theater, Taylor Hicks was at the entrance offering his autograph with the purchase of his lastest cd. The problem was it was so congested leaving people were getting tired and uneasy especially elderly people. One lady fainted while leaving and required attention. In the future, Taylor Hicks needs to sign autographs in a separate area away from the exit door.

I have loved Taylor from the time he first sauntered/slunk across the audition "stage" on American Idol. He was my choice for winner then, and I still think that he's a winner. He was very entertaining, and shows a diverse range of talent.

Taylor Hicks put on an amazing show. You can tell that he loves music and feels everything thing he sings from his head to his toes not to mention that he has so much soul; he will awaken yours too. What a wonderful find by American Idol - Thanks!!!!

It was the best concert I have ever been at. The only thing I didn't care for was the drums and keyboard was too loud. It was hard to hear him singing.. I went over there to the concert as a present from me to me for my 79th birthday. I also bought a ticket for my daughter and she loved it. COME ON OVER TO PENSACOLA AND I WILL BE THERE ALSO.

Loved the intimate setting but because the venue was so small the sound was way too loud with some of the more upbeat, energetic songs. Sounds were bouncing off of each other so that some of the songs had a muddled effect, with instruments clashing into each other and lyrics being hard to discern.

Also, I would have liked to hear Taylor do some of the songs he did on Idol instead of laying so heavily on cuts from his most recent CD, even though I can't complain about the songs he did. He had just done such an outstanding job on "Taking It To The Streets" by the Doobie Brothers and I so wanted to hear that, but alas, no..... *sigh*.

I've seen Taylor Hicks live in a number of venues and it's always a great show. He's an artist whose passion for music comes through in his performances. I leave a Taylor Hicks concert feeling lucky to have been a part of that audience. Taylor did an acoustic show at The Magic Bag (in the Detroit area) that was pure magic. The simple guitar (along with the ncomparable keyboard of Brian Less) and the small, intimate venue allowed all of the nuance and emotion of Taylor's voice to reach and grab every member of the audience. It was a show to remember.

You've never really "heard" Taylor Hicks until you've seen him live. If you have the chance to get to one of his performances, don't miss it.

Taylor was in his own little world. All of us waiting, chanting his name and then here he is. Soi tall and , nice cowboy BOOTS!!!He played 4 hours and no breaks!He is always good when your right upfront as I was.

I was hesitant to go because it was accoustic and I like Taylor with the band. However, it was a great concert. Taylor is quite the performer and will entertain no matter what he is doing. He was animated, chatty, happy and in great voice. Sure got my money's worth and then some. Had a great time and can't wait to see him again. The more you see the more you want.
