I got to the show after the first few bands had played, making it in perfect time for Lacuna Coil. They put on a very impressive show, and I became a fan of Lacuna Coil that very evening. All That Remains came on next, and they opened with "Before the Damned." The live version was so much more brutal than the original recording, and I was slightly terrified to go anywhere near that mosh pit. The rest of the show continued in a similar fashion, due to the band playing some songs that I was honestly scared to hear them play (Become the Catalyst, The Weak Willed). Regardless of the fear these songs instilled, I still threw myself into the pit and had a great time. I wish the venue was set up a little better for moshing, because there wasn't very much room. Oli Herbert (lead guitar) played his solos perfectly, which is great for me because I am a lead guitar player as well. Phil LaBonte (lead vocals) sang the clean parts a lot better than I had expected, and I was very impressed. The crowd reactions during some of the songs were amazing, such as the ones for "Two Weeks" and "Chiron." Altogether, the show was amazing, and I'm really looking forward to seeing All That Remains again, hopefully soon.

The first opening bands werent the show stoppers. Taking dawn, I wasnt impressed by at all. Maylene and the sons of disaster were ok. I say that because the lead singer reminded me of serji from system of a down, for those of you who got to see them before they split. Lacuna coil was the best of the three opening bands. I liked their music and the fact that they had both a female and male singer. What I didnt like about the openers were that they didnt seem to fit the genre of rock that all that remains is. But still I didnt go there to see them, but solely all that remains. Speaking of them, they put on a freaking amazing performance. I really wanted them to play the before the damned and they did! They opened with it actually, it set the perfect mood for the concert. They played alot of songs, which made me feel like I got my moneys worth. I would def go see them again in the future!
