I went to freshfest last year and had a ball but this year was unforgettable had good seats. Enjoyed the old school in between sets was dancing in the aisles. Missed lisa lisa and Cult Jam and Digable Planets. But Special Ed was real good had the crowd going for most of the performance. Dana Dane was okay. Naughty by Nature was the bomb they did some new stuff and all the old favorites and had the crowd really into it. But the highlight of the night was Kid n Play to me every song they did had the crowd jumping they were real into it performance was high energy and the actually did the kid n play on stage i felt like i was back in the late 80's wanted to start doing the wop, depending on the line up next year i'm definetly down to go.

This was the best concert I've attended in years! LOVED every single performer, and the MCs did a fantastic job of keeping the crowd entertained [AND up on our feet dancing] between acts. Already looking forward to Fresh Fest 2012!!!

Fresh Fest 2011 was incredible. A non stop party for those of us who remember REAL hip hop. Dana Dane performed almost the entire Dana Dane With Fame album and tore the place down. To see Kid n Play do the kickstep after all these years was great too. This is the third "Old School" show that I have been to in the last year, and the one thing that is the same is the atmosphere. It is one giant block party. Everyone talks to everyone, there are no fights, no arguments, just one big party that we all enjoyed. It was a time machine, and the artist and the crowd alike were happy to be there with people that understood just like they did.

Overall the concert was o.k. There are a few of the acts I didn't really care for but the ones I did care for really made up for the others. I think Lisa Lisa got things going and kid and play really got things pumped up but Naughty by Nature took it home and I think having them last was great for the lineup. I have to give it up the D.jays and the hosts. The really kept things moving along and I love the intermission with them performing I thought was off the chain. The refreshments were a little pricey.

Really enjoyed Fresh Fest Old School Reunion Tour. My husband and I attend the concert in August and this one and we loved it. Would love to see Salt N Pepper in the tour. OMG, I forgot how much I really loved Lisa Lisa!!!
