When I first purchased the tickets, Andy Roddick, Mardy Fish, and the Bryan brothers were all going to be in the draw. By the time we got there, Andy had retired from tennis, and Mardy was hurt. So we thought we could see some good Isner, Querry, Bryan bros, and Blake matches. Querry lost the night we arrived, and Blake on another court from the one we were on. Then, the next morning, the Bryans were supposed to play, but Mirnyi/Tecau were now the #1 seed. The Bryans had dropped out before the first round! Everyone was surprised. There were some very good matches, though, but the weather was so cold and windy that it was hard to enjoy them. We left early on a couple of night matches because of the cold (I had dressed like I did for a Thanksgiving Packers home game, and I still couldn't stay warm).

The Delray Beach Tennis facility is a spacious, comfortable facility with excellent parking choices. However, given that it is an ATP 250 level tournament, the finalists may not be as well known as one would prefer. For example, the singles finalists in 2013 were E. Roger-Vasselin and E. Gulbis, both ranked outside the top 100 singles going into the final. The doubles finalists were far better known and better ranked, Mirnyi/Tecau and Blake/Sock, all within the top 100.

I love the location, The city of Delray, the people working the event, the facility is top notch.......I actually wish they would reduce ticket prices or get seat fillers.....the weather was a bit cool, but I cannot understand why there were so many empty seats. This issue is the same at many tennis events though. Otherwise great time.

The lineup for the day matches in the stadium was terrible. So bad that even though it was almost sold out in advance, over half the ticketholders didn't show up. The policy for a rained out session was really cheap. This was the worst experience I have had watching live professional sports in over 50 years.

Paid $47 to see two tennis matches. The first match started at 6:30 and finished at 7:30. The second match was scheduled to start at 8:30 but at 8:15 it started to rain heavily. It took the tournament officials over an hour to make an announcement at which point they said the court would be dried and the second match started at 10:30. Since the second match would be played, they were offering no compensation. But it was too late, so we left. I returned the following day hoping they would comp or discount tickets for the match that day. But despite the fact that only a quarter of the seats were full, they said no. The atmosphere in the stadium would have been much more lively with a bigger crowd so I think their decision worked against them.

Even after 2 hour rain delay it was so worth it to see the great John Mcenroe do what he does BEST!! Play tennis!! Even though he is one of the best commentators in the sport, to watch him play is so much fun!!! Gray hair does NOT stop him!!! Cheers!!!

This event was a classic case of why Tennis continues to struggle for recognition and enthusiasm. The ticket prices are just too high. There was hardly anyone in the stands. I felt really bad for the players and for all the people who would have really enjoyed it but just couldn't justify the cost. The players were just fantastic and it was a huge joy to watch

We have been with much anticipation looking forward to watching John McEntire on 02/23/2013
The rain has delayed the match a couple of hours but it was still great and we did not mind the wait. At the interview time John McEntire has clearly and loudly invited the few people (the ones who stayed and waited out the rain to watch him play) for the next day match free of charge of course not having a reserved seat but whatever seats will be available. We drove to the event on 02/24/13 just to our disappointment not to be let in and were told that John McEntire had no authority to invite us free of charge. An act like this is totally unacceptable, we have planned our day around this event, drove there and then had to leave, ruined out entire day the least to say

Good tennis under sunny skies in a nice clean stadium. Ushers did good job of keeping people from wandering around during play, but not such a good job of limiting talking during play. -- despite repeated warnings about it from the chair.
Could have done without the guy on the bad sound system giving prizes for big hats and such.

Loved putting my feet up in the first row -- but could have done without the next two aisles of obviously non-tennis players complaining incessantly that they could not. Still on a
hot day -- didn't expect the high temps in March --would

DEFINITELY NEED TO ATTRACT MORE NOTABLE PLAYERS. HAVING JOHN ISNER & ANDY RODDICK WAS GREAT BUT WHEN NEITHER ONE OF THEM WAS IN THE FINAL IT BECAME ANTI-CLIMATIC. I WATCHED DEL POTRO'S COMEBACK WIN LAST YEAR AND EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ONLY A 2 SET MATCH, MUCH MORE ENTERTAINING. HAVING 3-4 BIGGER NAMES WOULD BE HUGE-THE STANDS WERE ONLY 25% FULL WHICH I'M SURE IS A DISAPPOINTMENT TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.
