Show was great, weather was HOT HOT!! Over sold the VIP seating, we got there about 15 minutest before the show and had to sit several rows back and we didn't get a fan.

A group of us went to the Swingtime Salute. It was our first time aboard the Wisconsin and I can't think of a better way to spend an evening than sitting on the deck overlooking the beautiful Elizabeth River while being entertained.

The show was creative and entertaining, but cost more money than it was worth. I would have given it a 5 star rating if it was $20 cheaper.

we were so glad to be able to see the production on the ship --- I understand some performances had to be moved because of the heat --- We truly enjoyed the show, and perhaps the success (hopefully) will prompt a similar production next summer -- Thank you!

The show was very well done. The performers were good, the jokes were corny, the atmosphere really made the evening - it was an all around good time.

The Swingtime Salute was amaaazing! I had so much fun watching this performance! The cast all seemed to have great chemistry and an overall good time doing this show.
The only thing that would have made this better would be if it was moreso in the Spring, and at an earlier time. My grandparents would have LOVED this show, but it was too hot and too late at night for them to be able to attend it.
Please keep doing shows like this. I'm used to seeing shows in opera houses and concert halls, so it was a lovely change of scenery out on the water! Also, I didn't have any problems seeing, and the sound was perfect! Thank you, thank you!

Made me wish even more I was from the generation that saved the world. My grandfather fought in wwII and I always loved listening to this music with him. It has always been one of my favorite memories. I wish I could have had him with me and seen his big smile. I know he would have loved it.
The show was great and the performers could sing (great voices). For being outside the sound was amazing, minus the occasional police car siren. The jokes were from the day so a little corny but that was the time. The ladies were beautiful and the dancing was great for the space they had to work. I could close my eyes and believe I was back in 1943. Very enjoyable with the Wisconsin as a stage it was great!

Loved the Swingtime Salute! Despite some corny jokes (appropriate for a 1940's USO-type on-ship/radio show), the music and dancing were great! Loved the harmony and the singers' voices! Saw the show on July 4th, so fireworks were an added bonus after the show. Highly recommend it!!!

The swing time review on the USS Wisconsin was a fantastic jog down memory lane. The show harkened back to a time when performers wanted to perform for the audience. A truly amazing venue and terrific show. The performers did a fantastic job. I hope they do more shows on the Wisky.

I was not disappointed! We took my 80 year old parents and they enjoyed it as well. We went on the day Mal Vincent's less than glowing review appeared in the paper. Yes, the jokes were corny, but according to my parents, that's how radio shows were back in the day.

There were three of us attending together and looking forward to an evening of swing music and patriotism. The stage show disappointed all of us. We sat near the rear and found it difficult to hear much of the dialog. We could not hear most of the band music, either; but it did not sound like a large swing band. We could hear Lorelei Leigh very clearly. The show had a good premise, but it was flat. It lacked PUNCH, PIZZAZZ, and ROUSING DELIVERY!

It made me feel like I was in the 40's , the custumes and the set was so good. It is not a Broadway production but I was not disappointed. I took my 87 year old neighbor and she sang a long with all the songs, she was 20 years old in 1944. It was a great trip down memory lane that I could share with her. She was so happy all the way home,,,she talked , talked and talked, then we sang the songs....Thank you for a wonderful evening. We had 5 people total in our group and everyone loved it.

It is not often that I am able to take my wife to an event that is not just entertaining, but also unique and special. We love Big Band, good clean dancing and people that actually have talent. Even without the experience of being on the USS Wisconsin, surrounded by the river and breathtaking sunset, this troop of entertainers were enthusiastic, personable and very giving in their performance. Having been in the Marine Corps, I remember the USO coming to out of the way places to give a show. This was so memorable. Why can't there be more shows like this available. Thanks for a special memory event in our lives..

What a great show! We were really looking forward to seeing the show onboard the battleship Wisconsin but the weather was too windy and the show was moved inside, The music and dancing was great.....and it was just an all-around good show! In fact we enjoyed it so much, we are planning on going again and hopefully will get to see the show on the battleship! My hat is off to the cast and musicians!

I really enjoyed the show!! My father, who is also a huge fan of the big band era, spent some time stationed on the WisKy and watching this show on one of the ships he served on made me feel close to him (especially the night before fathers day), even though he lives abt. 8 hrs. away. The cast was really amazing!! They are all so talented!!
