Despite intermittent drizzle and mist, a record crowd turned out for the opening of summer shows at Jiffy Lube Live. While I, personally, was not impressed by the opening act, Florida-Georgia Line, most of the crowd thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I really enjoyed most of the set by the middle act, Thompson Square, especially their ballad "Glass, " which was framed by a series of photo vignettes of their visit to Honduras last year, and the children they have embraced as a "cause." Finally, the headliner, Luke Bryan, appeared, and put on a very stupendous show. He interacted very well with the enthusiastic crowd, and was stilll going strong when I left, due to the late hour and my long drive home.
